Camp (for all you Camp fans) :-*

Especially Blackstock, if we didn't sign him we would be doomed!!!

Don't be forgetting Anderson now.

He has an excellent ball treatment and can pass four opponents with his velvet technology.

Very difficult decision. Fully fit Earnie whole season would got over 20. Think am going to go for Wes though i am torn between him and Cohen.

there is only one person that saved our season.

and that man is kelvin wilson for getting sent off at sheffield united

if he had stayed on the pitch we would have lost and he would have played the rest of the season

HAS to be Cohen for me. I don't know what more he coul do to win the award! So much effort, such a driving force in our midfield, plenty of assists, covering for his team mates all over the pitch, an inspiration.

If only he hadn't been there to make those last ditch blocks and goal line clearances before that incident eh.

Surely it has to be Andy Cole. The man contributed so much!

First of all, congratulations on you staying up. :)

Secondly, I've seen that Anderson's name was mentioned. There's a certain stat about him I'd like to share with you.
Ando has been injured twice this season (thigh injury from the start until QPR and a broken arm). He missed games under both managers and that's why I think this stat has some merit.

Out of 45 league games played Anderson played just 25, missing 20.
In the 25 games he played Forest won 9, drawn 9 and lost 7.
In the 20 games he missed Forest won 3, drawn 5 and lost 12.
That make your success rate with him 48% and without him 23.3%.

I want to ask those who went to see games this season. I know he didn't score as many as he did last season in League One (maybe because of the injuries) but has he been as influential on your team as these stats suggest?

I'd say it was his work rate that helps us in that sense, he runs around a lot and know's where his right back or left back wants him, which when you have a centre back at right back helps a great deal!

What he said!

Ando's work ethic and non-stop running is what gets him his praise from our fans.

He's a cracking player and I really hope he comes back next season.

Anderson's a really important player for us. I don't think he is good enough as a winger for a top four side. You have to have something special to compare with the likes of Arshavin and Ronaldo. He's nowhere near that level. He could be a squad player for Liverpool playing in Carling Cup etc for a couple of years before being sold to lower premiership/higher championship.

His contribution to the team is far more valuable than his stats would suggest. His goals and assists are far less frequent than they should be for a player of his ability.

As has been mentioned his work rate is a big factor. But I believe the biggest factor is the role that he plays in our team. On the occasions when I've seen him this season we have played a fast, counter attacking style of play, keeping the ball with good, controlled, short passing but then suddenly breaking with pace and using width. Anderson and Tyson on opposite wings were perfect for this style of play and it seemed to work for us, as the opposition were scared of our ability on the break and consequently sat back a little and allowed us to control possession without too much pressure on our back four. The best example of this I can think of was at Man City when it worked like a dream.

I would make Anderson, Gunter and Blackstock equal priorities for the coming season. They are all that important to us.

earnshaw with 15 goals for the season i think has to be the one. But without wes morgan, we would have been doomed ! so he to shpuld be player of the year for us and he saved us :D

Of those games without him, I think we fluked a couple of wins.

Vital doesn't quite cover the influence he has made this season.

The game against the sheep, the one where he broke his arm, it wasn't until he went off injured that Derby looked threatening at all.

That game clearly showed that we were a different side with him on the pitch.

He is, for me, top of the shopping list for the loanees we have had in this season.

More to the point, Sundays game could and probably will be their last ever game for us,
So we should give them a proper send off to show how much we appreciate them.
