Both the two names that have been linked with the club for the last umpteen weeks are NOT coming. Spoke to my mate who is the Sports reporter for a major Cardiff based media outlet and he said they are both staying put but Pratley might come next summer on a free, that is if he doesn;t have a stormer and get snapped up by a prem club.

Anyone that knows me can see on my facebook that I'm mates with this guy and it doesn't take much to find out who he is...

On a good note he's good mates with a Welsh player that plays for us and was out with him Saturday night as the player couldn't play and he said he's loving it at Forest and all is good. Doesn't seem like any stories of the team being unsettled are true.
 
I think most people on here accept that neither player is coming, the threads are just bring kept alive through sheer boredom. :D
 
Yeah and I'm board of seeing the threads get longer and longer. So let's see if we have a plan B and hope the two of them have a ****e season...

it's not boredom it's become a drug i go cold turkey if i haven't had my daily thread fix
 
Forgive me if I treat this latest piece of 'insider knowledge' with a giant pinch of salt. After all it is more likely than not that neither will come in this window and all & sundry will claim to be 'in the know' on this. Is it me or have the so called itk brigade ( OTT & Capello to name but two ) dropped like flies over the past few weeks - on both this site & Vital? Perhaps the City Ground spin factory is finally running out of mules to carry their messages to the massed hordes of Reds fans desperate for any morsel of information.
Soulmalarki - you may well be right and this is not a criticism of you but of the sundry hangers on that have sought to make a name for themselves as the board have closed ranks and allowed even less communication to those that pay for their very existence ( the long suffering fans ).
 
We really didnt need you to tell us this to be fair. Anyone who has supported Forest for a few years now know exactly how incompetent we are when it comes to building on a position of success
 
I only know this one guy, holiday snaps on my facebook with us both very sunburned and all that jazz. I would never say I'm in the know but I do know this one guy who works as sports reporter in South Wales and is also good mates with one of our first team players. If it's not happening in South Wales I know nothing. That or Spurs as he's a big and I mean BIG spurs lad.

Actualy it's the bit about the two of you in sunburned holiday snaps that worries me really.

What you must realise that truth is a matter of opinion and location. I am sure the information your 'friend' told you is what he believes to be the truth and I am equally sure that quite a few of the other 'ITKs' have posted has been posted in good faith.

But today's truth is tomorrows history and I am old enough to know that situations in football and in any other business can do rapid U turns when situations dictate.

So thankyou for posting your information but the fat lady has yet to sing.

(However I fear your information may be all too accurate IMHO)
 
thanks for the info...dont know why so many people choose to lambaste others who paste what they know...bores me too..again...thank you, even if it is news nobody wanted to hear !!!!...on a more positive note...i hear doughertys holding company has been liquidated..read in to that what you may..but this is second hand info, from somebody who looked it up on companies house website...he may have formed another ? got fresh investment ?? who knows..dont even know if it true !

do you think a day will go by without and member of the site mentioning pratley or whittingham! i actually hate them both now and if they do sign they will be my new scapegoats whenever the team doesn't perform!!!!!!!!!!!!!! roll on end of the window!!!

Nah, don't do that mate. Some people are such dickheads! You know its the truth and you try and do fans a favour giving info then people slate you, carazy! I had the same after i revealed a forest players dad had said we have agreed terms with pratleys through his agent and people leathered me saying i was a liar. How silly they looked when ma opened his big gob a week later. Keep posting mate.

Ah colin, one of the said dickhead's. At no stage did i say he had signed. My post was that we'd agreed terms with pratley through his agent, but the clubs hadn't agreed the fee yet, which ma confirmed on radio a week later you jerk.
