Mine just stopped working about 18 months ago, no pre-warning or anything, the VM help people were no use either. Was a right pain in the arse.

I think they are binning it off anyway - ISP emails were dead ages ago

It isn't actually that much effort to setup a domain name and email server...

Have you tried it recently? Despite being told two years ago it was being turned off imminently, and having changed it on as many accounts as I could remember, it seems to have finally been terminated last month as I started getting notifications from the ones I forgot that they couldn't contact me, or send me crap.
Mine works.

I thought the Tiscali email address was stopping years ago, according to my daughter. However, as she and her husband didn't know what they were supposed to do then, they just kept it and to this day it still works.

Technology is wonderful.

I'm just back from what is now, sadly, a rare work trip abroad. Holland is a fine country, a pleasant and profitable couple of days. Now, whilst there, I met colleagues who are directly involved with Forest. Very little was given away but the simple message was "don't underestimate the ambitions of the owner". I couldn't get any detail, save mainly for historical stuff which is already known about, but the smiles, nods and winks told me a lot. I asked a direct question about the state of the concourses and food and drink and so on and I was very pleased to be told that the club are acutely aware, have been waiting for the planning consent, and that the rebuilt and renewed stadium will have the very best of the best. Cross your fingers, don't hold your breath, but it is an issue that is known about and one that will be resolved to a high standard.

In other news, the Dutch found the news about 115 FC hilarious. Comments like "it's been obvious" and "relegate them five leagues" capture the mood.

Now, put my laundry in the machine and go and get Dad his shopping. Why oh why is there such a large period of time without proper football in early autumn. I miss it already.

If the worst of the AI doom-mongers are correct, then by the time this thing gets built, the bots will have cut a swathe through the jobs market. There it will be, all big, shiny and red - with its premium padded seats, rivers of hot water flowing from the taps, and artisan pork pie shop… and hardly any f’ckr will be able to afford to sit in it.

Would be just typical of Sod’s Law to pounce on Forest again.

But - will there be decent coffee? If so, I'll vote for it, and sod the AI-invasion.

Be positive, AI will put nearly all of us out of a job (as we currently understand what a job means). Things will change and so must we.

If we've got more leisure time, and the nonsense that is currently the UK's food supply issue, and we have a fine stadium and a fine side, then that's something to look forward to.

Or it goes all Skynet. :p

Will the AI invasion actually get rid of certain Forest 'doom mongers' on the internet?

Agree about the coffee though.

I’m sure AI will work out in double quick time how to generate a Forest goal at home.
But would it stop the doom mongers who want to see Forest fail no matter what?

I’ve been in touch with the club recently wishing to buy a ‘Brick in the Wall’ to commemorate the birth of my grandson.

Alas, until the stadium developments have been completed they’re not taking any new orders.

I’ve no idea if the current bricks will be re-located or if a new space will be created for new orders.

Judging by the time it’s taken to get this far, I think I’ll be able to combine it with his 18th birthday gift.

I'm thinking of asking if I can have my seat come demolition time. I've had it since they put seating onto the old enclosure terracing, and it's located more-or-less where I'd previously stood for many, many years. I'm sure some on here will agree with her, but my wife can't understand why I'd want a piece of plastic which "will probably add to all the other junk in the shed anyway". However, as I say, she just doesn't understand.

After all that time it will be the seating equivalent of Triggers broom.

Don't ask, just take it

I'm having loads of souvenirs following the last game that the main stand is open

They were giving away the seats from the old pavillion at Trent Bridge (last year?). You could take as many as you wanted as long as you could get them home, but I never heard of anyone actually taking any.
Dozens of local clubs have small rows of seats from the old West Wing and Parr stand dotted around the ground as well.
