We're Safe - Stuff Saturday!

Thought I'd start this and update it after the Coventry v Barnsley game.

We'll be safe on Saturday at teatime if we win at Blackpool and either:

(1) Plymouth lose to QPR and Barnsley lose to either Coventry or Wolves or draw with both, or

(2) Barnsley take no more than one point from their matches against Coventry and Wolves.

If results don't go our way on Saturday, then we can be safe on Monday night, after Norwich v Reading, if:

(1) we've won at Blackpool and Norwich fail to beat Reading, or

(2) we've drawn at Blackpool, Southampton have not beaten Burnley on Saturday and Norwich lose to Reading.

If none of the above scenarios materialises or we lose at Blackpool then it goes to the final day whatever else happens.

One other key game is Reading's visit to Derby tomorrow night. If Reading lose, then Swansea could close to within one point of them by winning at Sheffield United on Saturday. That would put more pressure on Reading to get a result at Norwich.

This is the one that me and my dad were forgeting earlier ... I knew there was a way for us to still get safe on Saturday even if Barnsley win tomorrow night. We obviously forgot that Plymouth and Barnsley play each other on the last day

If we lose at Blackpool, all bets are off anyway.

Reading have had some terrible results of late, and Norwich will be up for it. I wouldn't be so sure that Reading will do us any kind of favour ...

Well check how close Swansea are to them, if they bungle this game in hand and then following matches they will be in a huge snotty mess that will cost some people their jobs.

We get 1 win from our last 2....
Norwich beat Reading and Charlton....
Barnsley only lose to Wolves at home by one goal....
Plymouth beat QPR but lose at home to Barnsley and
Derby lose their last 2.... Charlton at home and Watford away.

DERBY WILL GO DOWN!!! (can but dream eh?)

This "having nothing to play for", I just don't believe in it...
No team can stand in front of 2000 traveling supporters, only to say; "we had nothing to play for, so who cares"?!
Every team wants to win, even if they're mid-table.

Assuming we win only the Plymouth result can ensure safety on Saturday.
