Plymouth fan in peace here. I just thought that a few posters here may be interested in a report on last night's game that was written for the neutral: http://thetwounfortunates.blogspot.com/2010/01/were-nottingham-forestunbeaten-away.html. It was written by a Red friend of mine for a Championship blog that I write with a Reading supporter.

On a side note, does anyone know if you are still interested in our striker, Jamie Mackie? There was big talk down our way of him moving to the City Ground for £1m+ to play on the left wing, but it's all died down. His head has definitely been turned as he's been useless for a few weeks; personally, I'd take the money and run if Billy wants him.

I think its hard for someone to write a neutral piece when they are a fan of one of the teams playing. We played awesome for an hour but we all sat there after their first goal and feared an onslaught.

Plymouth play WBA soon and lots write them off, but if you look at at the WBA write ups and forums they have been expecting it for a while. Maybe pretenders to the throne? Whatever. I hope Plymouth do well and dig themselves out. We were in the same place last season. Sorry, but I have to say it...

I must admit that I missed the game, but you deserved it by all accounts. Word is that Olsson, who was a rock when we played at the Hawthorns in September, looked uncomfortable against Dexter. Funny how times change. It doesn't seem like two minutes since he played a big part in a 3-0 win for us at the City Ground back in the bad old days for you.

We've been awful for a few years now and the rot has set in pretty deep. Mariner is very positive and has breathed new life into the side, but we're still fragile. I don't think we've beaten Albion for years, but we'll do our best!

I guess that the resounding silence on Mackie means that you lot aren't interested; I don't blame you!

Wasn't exactly excited by going for Mackie - Derby were also rumoured to be interested, and frankly, they're rubbish!
