The Times Transfer Bulletin

I get this transfer bulletin emailed to me everyday from The Times. There is section at the bottom where people email in questions to their transfer expert, Gary Jacob. Today is the first time I have seen him reply to a Forest question.

"We keep hearing of many transfer targets for Nottingham Forest. What are the chances of Dexter Blackstock, Lee Camp, Chris Gunter, Isiah Osbourne and Paul Anderson joining us? Are there any likely surprises that you have heard about?"
Adrian Warren

GJ: Lee Camp, who was labelled one of the most promising goalkeepers when he was at Derby, fell out with the QPR hierarchy and would be available. Chris Gunter is likely to leave Tottenham on loan next season so there is hope that Forest can do a deal, but the right back would probably only consider a permanent move to a top-flight club. Tottenham claim that they do not want to sell him. Of the others, I thought that Dexter Blackstock was all but agreed to go to Forest? Isaiah Osbourne is likely also to follow, but I thought that Anderson was moving to Swansea (which may change because Roberto Martinez is set to leave as manager). Lots of club officials and players are on holiday at present, so deals that may have been agreed verbally cannot be ratified until they return. That may be the hold up in some cases.

That answer, I would suggest, shows that he actually has no idea of the potential validity of any of the transfers!

I agree. It sounds as though his 'answers' are taken from rumours that have been printed in newspapers before.

Claims to a "Transfer expert" and then says he thought we'd already signed Blackstock. Way to keep you finger on the pulse tit.

I bet we can find photos of anything, just to prove it.
Can a squirrel go to war? We've seen the photo.
Can a lion ride in a sidecar? We've seen the photo.
