The Sun £9.50 for 2 tickets offer.

Rogue

Jack Burkitt
I have just got off of the phone with the ticket office and Nottingham Forest are NOT participating in this offer for home games.

If you want go to an away game fine, but you have to purchase tickets via the away clubs ticket office.

**** you very much Forest.

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

You could get 2 tickets for the Reading game for £19.50, you saying you wouldn't take advantage of that?

I'd have preferred a home game or at least one where I wasn't on ****ing holiday.

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

Where can I find information about this offer?

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

Bet you`d be in with the hom fans.

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

ken hom lives in berkshire right?

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

Forest should have done at least one home game, it won't sell out so the extra cash from the tickets and whatever was spent in the ground/club shop would be a bonus.

As for you sebs, I'll PM you when those offers come out so you can toss your teddy out of the playpen and demand a rebate.

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

Are you sure you can get tickets IN THE FOREST END for Reading with this offer?

I've followed all the links, and this doesn't appear to be the case. not only that, but tickets are on sale to season ticket holders only, and even if this can be gotten around, Forest only sell to client ref holders. Will Reading therefore take a different stance?

It all seems a bit suspect for me, especially having been strung by the small print in Sun flight details before.

However, if it is the business, please let me know and i'll take my £23 tickets back to the clubshop (if I can now get in without being blocked by official merchandice suckers).

Cheers

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

Reading have stated to Nottingham Forest that they should allow our supporters to buy tickets for this game using the offer.

I'm going to call Forest back now and see what the deal is.

Reading will not sell away supporters tickets.

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

Now spoken to someone else at the ticket office, the bloke I spoke to first time is a prize dickhead, sack the prick.

Postal applications : send your voucher in with postal order/cheque (£19.50) and the tickets will be mailed to you or be ready for collection at Reading on the day.

In person : Go to ticket office with voucher and you will get the tickets with an option for Junior tickets at £5 each.

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

If anyone wants a voucher let me know by PM with your address, I'll post it first thing in the morning.

First come first served.

I don't see how forest can do this:

They sell a membership card scheme and give priority to season ticket holders for away games, I also believe NFFC members get early priority on away tickets aswell. So how can someone that's collected some coupons from the sun manage to get tickets before they go on general sale.

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

General sale will be the 14th, the assumption was that postal applications would not be processed until then and that in person you could not do it until the 14th, I didn't think to add that.

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

That is unless you are a member or season ticket holder.

Then you can go to the ticket office and get them, why does everyone assume its only non members applying?

I'm an NFFC member, I could get the tickets today, amazes me that an offer comes along that everyone can participate in and the only ****ers moaning are those to ****ing lazy to bother.

Re: The Sun £9.0 for 2 tickets offer.

I can't go to this game, I collected the vouchers anyway, I'm away on holiday that weekend.

SO if I can pass them on for someone to use I will....... well........ I have.

So can you get the tickets now if you have the vouchers or still have to wait for general sale please ? ? ? I have my vouchers at the ready, was trying to keep it quiet so they didnt sell out lol

Im going to every home game with this crazy season ticket thing, I won it on a raffle, I wanted the radio but my nan won it, so I had to make do with this....

Interestingly, the OS ran with the offer on Saturday, so if they weren't going to participate why run with the story, unless they were bound to do so by the Football League?

How long are the vouchers going to be in the Sun for?

Might get to a couple of £5 Aldershot Town games.

Why are so many people so against football being made affordable to others?

If it helps attract new fans to games then that's fine by me.
