The Silence Is Defening................

PSR

Geoff Thomas
Especially from BD.

Has he really been pulled over the coals and told to keep his mouth shut or do you think is waiting for the right moment to comment on Marthur's latest clap-trap and the goings on - or should I say "the not so much goings on"

I think this is the longest period of time that we haven't heard from him during the season - I'm starting to worry for the man!!!!

well it's tomorrow when he has his weekly pre match interview ?

Deafening?

Maybe he feels he doesn't need to say anything?

There are enough people spouting bollocks at the moment without him pitching in.

Sometimes, the best way to say something is to say nothing at all.

Maybe Billy has realised this.

He set it all up very nicely before the window closed so that he wouldn't have to say anything afterwards. It's not as if anyone's wondering what his feelings are on the matter is it?

i'm not to fussed about Billy's silence, the good thing about him is he's a winner and this rubs of onto the players.
i think he has made his position on transfers known on numerous occasions and now i would think he is focussing on the next match.

I'm loving it.

Damn... Now I'm hungry.
I really hopes he walks, then you will realise what a good manager we had, when another Megson/Calderwood is appointed.
I think as pissed off you are off his rants I'm equally as pissed off with this clubs one step forward one step backward mentality. Also remember who appointed him, the umpteenth he's appointed by the way.

No I agree he's a good manager but you're right in me thinking he's a little arse at times.

I just want a happy club and I think he stirs it more than most.

He would not have the need to if he had the right backing.

The kind that's knackered Derby for years to come?

Billy has been part of stirring the fans up against the owners of NFFC.

He has now put us into a position where our "Angel" who keeps the club running with cash could be tempted to walk away.

He now has put us into a position where we could go massively into debt to a bank and end up in L1 or L2 forever more.

Billy can walk away any time.

We the fans are left with the mess for ever more..............

REMEMBER THAT.

Since when under ND have we had a happy club?.
I'm not condoning what BD is in my opinion saying, thats if he is saying it in the first place but the reason he got the job in the first place was we were on the way towards the third tier again.
Something deeper than BD is wrong with this football club.

So what type of backing do you feel he lacks at the club ?

Sedgred can I ask you two questions, One there is a simple yes or no, maybe like most you don't know the answer to the other..
1, Under Doughty have we moved forward on the pitch?.
2, Should Doughty walk away would he want what money he has loaned the club back?.

Billy can walk away any time......and Nigel has threatened to walk away..

Either way, us fans will still be left with the mess !

ND appointed Billy, knowing full well what he was like. I think the thing they didn't realise though, was that they wouldn't be able to handle him if they tried to pull the rug from under him.

Billy Davies is the best manager in the league, as demonstrated with Preston and Derby. He know's what's needed to get out of this league, which is why he spouts off, because he has to look after his reputation, and he can't do that without new players to improve our already young, inexperienced, thin and over achieving squad !

I wanted the board to come and and give us an explanation as to why we didn't sign anyone, not a thread to the people who dig deep every season to buy tickets, shirts, quilt covers and notebooks.

However you look at it, I/we are customer's of Nottingham Forest. If I/we are not happy with a product or the service when we buy it from somewhere, then we complain and expect something to be done. So don't be surprised when people aren't happy with the service and wish to complain and moan about things.

I'm not saying BD is perfect but one thing he is guilty of is raising the expectations of most supporters.
I think most fans were just starting to accept floating between the second and third tier of English football is our level.

Are you serious? I dont think you speak for many...the whole reason people are divided on Mark Arthurs words and Nigel Doughtys actions are because after 10 years and 50million we are still a huge step away from where we all expect us to be, last january we came extremely close, had another 5 million of investment come in january chances are doughty could have had his 50million back.

Since when under ND have we had a happy club?.

For the first time in ages pre christmas an pre January transfer window i believed in ND, I believed he'd appointed the best manager in a long time,i believed for the first time in over a decade wed get back to the Premier League ,in December i believed we where verging on being untouchable in this league ,then .......
sometimes ,just sometimes i wanna pack the whole supporting Forest up but i never will, I DONT BELIEVE ANYMORE...DO YOU?

Honest opinion

On the pitch obviously moved backward to go forward, but yes to no 1.

No 2) I can only speculate yes, because why should he walk away from his investments/loans/financial support what ever it is chosen to be called, to enable others to profit from it.
