It *could* be close.

Assuming we sort our away form out. On current form I'm more worried about Swansea catching up with Forest rather than hoping Forest catch up with West Brom.

West Brom aren't rock solid and will drop plenty points which is the frustarting thing as I just think we will drop to many to take advantage of their slip ups.

I think Swansea could sneak second place like we did from league 1.

I cant really see it now. I think we were all fooled a bit by our awya form. We were never actually any good away from home and had a lot of luck go our way during the run.

Doesnt bode well for the play-offs. But we'll see, after the League 1 promotion, anything can happen.

What's your thinking now mate seeing as Albion are 4 points better off than your forecast so far and Forest are three points worse off? That's a 7 point swing already - have you resigned yourself to the play-offs now?

Still a lot of football to play yet. Tough home game for us against Leicester. They beat us 4-1 at the Hawthorns last time out.

I've pretty much written off automatic now.

As long as we don't start picking up loads of injuries now thats my main concern as we haed to the playoffs.

they've lost 2 in a row after was it 8 unbeaten, hardly a major slip, for now, although playing a team who are in a bad run of form would be beneficial, rather than a team like reading who will be playing on adrenaline after their late charge (possibly)

The run in is very kind but it was always going to be the run of fixtures between Derby and Preston that defined the season. Sadly, I think we've just about blown it.

I do worry about Reading making the play-offs, particularly as we'll probably get them in the semi's.

I can't see anyone else getting into the play-offs. I think Newcastle are up automatically, they have got some easy games ahead. Only we can stop them from winning the title and I'm not sure we will. Home games left against Leicester, Boro and Barnsley. Away games against Doncaster, Watford and Palace. Doncaster aside I prefer the look of our away games.

So its Cardiff, Swansea and Leicester and you or us for the play-offs. I still think much could change but I'll enjoy watching your game on Monday night. I consider us to be 10 clear at the moment because of the goal difference but we have clawed this back on Wolves ourselves once and I know you did Carlisle similarly as well.

The chances for twists and turns are reducing by the week but I reckon there will be a few scares yet. At least we will have two or three of our injured back for Friday.
