Just wanting to check that I’m not going mad here but what are peoples thoughts on this? Personally I think anyone taking a baby to a comedy gig and not leaving if it cries is a completely selfish fuckwit and all the people sticking up for them are just as deranged. Is this country really this thick or is it just standard Twitter lunacy?

It's a bit odd, why on earth would they be taking a newborn to a comedy show? I barely slept during the first month of my son's life and can say sitting in an audience of people laughing all night is not an optimal way of looking after a baby...

Using the excuse of „oh, it‘s just a baby“ doesn‘t wash, either. It is selfish.
When my daughter was a baby, I would take her to all sorts of places, but if she started to cry (and let‘s face it, they all do) I wouldn‘t just let her carry on and potentially annoy others, I took her outside until she got sorted (which usually means she was hungry or needed changing).
I travel quite a bit for work, and the amount of folk who bring babies on to aeroplanes never ceases to amaze me. I mean, why? It is possibly an incredibly upsetting experience for a baby, who hasn‘t got a clue what is going on, and when it inevitably starts making a racket, it‘s not like you can step outside for a minute, is it?
