Nothing negative to say - if Billy doesn't think he could bring in a permanent signing that would improve the squad, and maybe prefers to use the loan market, then I'm 100% behind him.

The squad we have *now* if it plays to its collective strengths, is good enough to finish in the top half of the table.
If we are able to maybe add a loan defender or two in the next couple of weeks, with Perch, Wilson and Bennett still to come back in, there is no reason why we won't finish in the top ten (and most of us would be happy with that) and push on next season.
For those who've watched Forest play this year, the improvements are clear to see, and the squad certainly seems to be bonded together well; you only have to see the celebrations at the end of the match against the Sheep.
I think Billy has it right - it's a marathon not a sprint (as he says) and I trust him to improve the team gradually and get it going in the right direction, rather than to rush things and fall spectacularly on our collective arse (like some other teams have - !)

I couldnt agree with you more i am more than happy with the squad and with forest ,I to can see a midtable finish or maybe better but this thread was made becouse i wanted everyone who was being negative to use it so we the positive optimistic people didn't see there negativitychriscl said:

To be honest the only negative I can think of is that you can't get a Steak and Kidney Pukka Pie in the food stands in the Lower Brian Clough Stand!

very happy with the way our summer spending has gone.
I reckon if you asked us at the start of pre-season if we'd take this outcome we all would have.
Defender issues if your forcing me to come out with something. Don't like cohen at left back..
Wonder if we could strengthen at CB too, like Collins who has just signed from wolves to preston on deadline day for example.
But not enough to be pissed off about it..

Happy with our new skipper
Almost happy with ND but would like to beat David Pleat around the head with a wet kipper.
Not happy at the fact I can't get out for a smoke at half time, Not happy I've just been quoted £170.00 to fly to East Midlands Airport from here but otherwise content with the word of Forest
