This was last season, not brilliant and realistically we still needed more goals from midfield etc

A bit bemused by all the RAGE today. Yes, we were a bit shit in the first half and lost the game, but picked it up enough in the second half to hold out and win the tie. It really isn't worth getting all that worked up about. Sign of the times I guess.

Im resigned to relegation now I'm afraid. We are running out of chances. The team either look knackered or as if they are looking forward to next season with different clubs. The run of games we have in May (Chelsea, Newcastle, United & Bournemouth) will send us down. I don't see points for us in any of those games and I think we'll be in the bottom three before May starts.

This has the feel of frank Clark era, with stan, just looks like we may go down back to the championship a bit quicker. Hopefully we have enough money to get back into the league a bit quicker.

I can see West Ham beating Fulham on Wednesday, while I can’t see anything but a mauling for us at City, so into the bottom 3 we go.

Stolen from X.
Good news #NFFC fans, of our next FIVE weekends, Forest are only able to ruin two of them 🙌

If we are still outside the relegation zone come Wednesday 10pm then its a minor miracle.

I remember League 1, so given our relatively lofty position in the pyramid and in European competition no less. I’m going to enjoy it, rest of this season no matter what.
Yeah same we are mere passengers in this and whilst it doesn't look great it can change for good or bad so quickly after Wednesday we have over a week of time on the training ground thats what im pinning my hopes on

Disappointment at the awful first half display (the defence was abysmal and Murillo was shocking); frustration that the much improved second half we didn’t at least get a point.

We move on.

An unscientific survey of friends and family on the Brighton concourse post match .

One in four would like relegation - finding the financial pressure of too many games , coupled with perceived unfairness of competitions weighted to favour big club infrastructure draining - and think the Championship would be more enjoyable . ( A few Gen Z types in that group - I don't think they understand how horrible it will feel to watch Coventry welcome Arsenal as we pack our bags for a trip to Preston or Portsmouth )

One in four don't want relegation but think it's inevitable. Stupid managerial mistakes. Pro Dyche. Anti Dyche , Pro Nuno - Nuno is a money grabbing mercenary and caused all this - all in this group.

One in two. Think we should we pull together - scrap like we used to - we can and should stay up.

Unfortunately, more in the latter group tempted to join the first two .

Even a point against Man City would bring some calm. Game against Spuds on the horizon looks massive.

Bookies disagree. 5/2 on Forest to go down widely available. 11/4 on offer if you look.

Wonder how many truly believe it to have a punt?

I cannot believe that any Forest fans would want relegation as it would be a disaster for the club.

I don’t want another 23 years in the Championship before promotion.

The last 4 years have been mainly wonderful since promotion and I intend to squeeze the last drop of enjoyment out of being in the top flight.

One in four wanting relegation?! They should give their heads a wobble.

Dejected again - but we're no way near out of it.

It's only the start of March and surely cannot get any worse, can we?

Not expecting anything other than a bumming on Wednesday but there's still a lot to play for.

As for the boo boys and folk staying away now (see ticket sales), stay away please as it's quite obvious they were only ever interested in sustained Premier League football and can't handle a scrap.

Completely agree.
Speak as I find.
There are one or two on here saying similar.
Do they really believe it? Or just what they say after another loss where they had hopes.

About half our crowd stayed to applaud the effort of the players, one in four left on the whistle and one one in four left with 5 to ten minutes to go despite us being just one goal short.
Two years ago everyone would stay get behind the team to try and will a goal back .
Times have changed.

Agree - not sure why anyone who has given up wants to keep going.

I don't WANT relegation. But I don't hate The Championship as some other people seem to do, either. At least it's not predictable like the Premier League. In the Premier League there is a ceiling we can't reach. As soon as we get a good player they get poached within a couple of seasons. Most of the time it's very enjoyable and I feel a lack of connection. The atmosphere is terrible.

Unlike some of you that have given up, i'm not waivering. We're staying up and if you want Championship football so badly, Derby are always looking for new fans.
We may stay up, but basing on yesterdays performance it's because there are far worse teams out there than us, not because we deserve to stay up.

A drastic uptake in form and energy is needed as the game passed them by yesterday, couldn't even do basic defending yesterday
