There are clearly many of our youth and older who don’t fancy it but I don’t believe that is the same for all of them.

There might be a deeper issue at play here, which is that we teach the younger generations to have HUGE expectations from their work life and that doesn't match up to the reality.
I did care work for about 6-7 years and it was satisfying, but HARD, stressful and almost impossible at times. It left me with permanent mental health issues. These are the jobs that need doing but I don't think the younger generation want to f*** themselves up that way (who can blame them?).

This is all before we even talk about immigration and why its necessary to fill that gap.

They also know that unless you have some family wealth or fall in to a well paid job they probably won’t be able to buy a house anyway, renting is so expensive. What is the motivation now?

I never knew wtf people were on about when mentioning tip-tops. They were ice poles in Lincoln. Mr Freeze, to be specific. And the pop van sold Corona.

I'm sure that a number of companies would have made them. They were pretty much a dash of squash with some water in a plastic tube.

Hmm.

Used to love their stuff. Then they started desecrating their recipes (like most others already had).

Not a patch on how it used to be and no longer worth the premium.

I'm always reading labels when getting non-alcoholic drinks these days, probably another reason why I usually just prefer a glass of wine...

I remember them, they were called Ice Pops, luscious!
 
It seems that now that Chelsea have signed Wellbeck, both Delap & Emegha are allowed to go out (Emegha on loan only) . I’d be all over getting Emegha on loan for a season.

When on teaching practice, Ki had a horrendous experience when I took a party of 15 year olds in a minibus for an educational visit to a water treatment workshop. Toast was being played constantly on the radio and one bright spark started to sing it, Quickly the rest of the group joined in… for the whole journey back to the school. They certainly were expert WUMs!
