Speculation that I read somewhere here is that because of a promotion clause they went up to £40k. I don’t know whether that is likely or not but I’d say it is very realistic he’s on £20k-£30k. Like you say it could be done.

To be fair, he only has him for 4 games. The season where we threw the play offs away he was at Newcastle festering in their reserves.
He joined us full time in 20/21 in the Houghton season.
