Never heard of it - but I am all for trying something different - much prefer Twenty20 in cricket and I suppose this is something similar. Make the game faster and less time played. They have to change things due to the Tiktok generation, bless them, their brains can only pay attention for a few mins at a time.

I saw this advertised the other day and watched for about 5 minutes before switching it off as it reminded me a bit of Celebrity Big Brother.

Full of 'celebs' I've never heard of.

At least Masters Football many years ago was interesting because it was all former football players playing for their old clubs.

That's the one they need to bring back.

I loved masters football! In fact, it was actually an introduction to a lot of the old players to me!

I suppose this is a modern version of it

There is just something enjoyable about watching retired players play, I wish they would stop throwing celebs in but we know why they do it as that’s where the viewers come from

I had no idea he went through this! Horrible thing and glad it never came back. Great to hear that he received such warm support from the club. Great behaviour by Villa as well, ignoring any "risk" and not harming his career or the transfer terms. Also, this changes my perspective a bit on the man and his perceived lack of caring. He increased his risk of recurrence by forgoing followup treatment to be fit to play on the first game of the season after the op.
