Of course they are bothered, their greatest ever manager has joined the club they were brainwashed by their cult leader into thinking are down to all the wrongs in the world.

Football forums that don't have a sense of humour are definitely tinpot.
I've never read any other football forum which comes even close to having the amount of daft, butchered, hand crafted memes and silly pics which we have on LTLF.

Nuno's backpack, AMBITION!, Davies Trout!! etc. - we run entire threads fueled by these babies, never mind the individual ones which float around in everyday threads.

Sorry, but that alone ranks us as the biggest football club of all time.

See a lack of the original PoF thread in that list! Looks like I'm bumming you after Edward and Brynn now

There does seem to be a sense of deja vu after last year. Once again Palace fans are playing the blame game rather than questioning the real reason for their bitterness, that being Steve Parish, again.

They should be asking themselves why OG wanted to leave in the first place. He can give the overall umbrella of 'A New Challenge'. A new challenge after just 2 seasons(of success) is very bizarre, especially when they were odds on to compete in another euro campaign this season. No the reasons were obvious:

- Annoyed with player sales. The club cashed in on Eze and Guehi. Only being told about Guehi leaving at the last moment.
- No support to strengthen the squad even when having to backfill the bench with youth players.
- No Ambition. He came out and publicly criticised the club as frustrations boiled over.

Parish doesn't support his managers, even when they bring them the most success in their history. Is it any surprise that he's now taken a job at a club that has a chairman the matches his ambition? That will back him in the transfer market? That wants to see how far they can go?

This time next season when Palace are out of Europe and had a season of struggling in the league there might be more asking how they didn't do more to try and keep Glasner. I doubt it though. We'll probably be to blame for all that too.

Do you like trampolining?

I love how the "who is the bigger club" argument always revolves around the timescale.

Had a good couple of years? "It's about the here and now - currently we are bigger".
Had a rough couple of years? "you can't erase history - historically we are bigger".
The irony of being told we're living in the past, by the fanbase of club that's named after a structure that hasn't existed for almost 90 years.

Can’t be doing with the “Which club is bigger nonsense “. If you get involved in that argument it just makes you look tinpot.
It’s irrelevant anyway as the likes of Bournemouth who have a modest history are currently of a higher standing than some very successful clubs historically.
Sigmund Freud would have an absolute field day discussing how football fans are obsessed with comparing the size of their clubs!
