I've been on the fence about starting a Blackpool thread, but I feel the complete wankery of Oyston needs its on place on the forum.

The Seasiders were forced to cancel their pre-season trip to Spain as they can't field a team after losing 27 players at the end of last season.

But Oyston said: "I see absolutely no reason why we shouldn't be able to recruit sufficient numbers and quality to be able to compete in the Championship.

"The main thing people want to see is players signing for us and I think once we get some signed, and everything settles down, then we'll soon forget about some of the problems.

"We're finding it difficult to land some of the players we've been chasing.

"That's always the case, but unfortunately it's with the backdrop of not having many players, so it probably focuses things a little more than would normally be the case."

That'd be fantastic, until he somehow manages to take an early lead, defend it for the remainder of the game, then call in 100 security guards to escort him out of Nottingham to escape the wrath of the Forest thousands.

There's already a rule in place preventing loanees from playing against their parent clubs.

Blackpool badly need some experience so I wouldn't rule someone like Harding possibly going on loan if our injury situation allows.

Haha! I was just going to post something along these lines. Blackpool are a shambles, and are expected to struggle. So when they rock up to Forest, they will probably get a draw or nick a win.
