The football league show

Begins this Saturday at 11:45 on BBC1.

An hour and 20 minutes long, let's just hope they show ITV how it's done.

Sounds like we will be getting 3 featured games (at least) from the program description instead of ITV's paltry 1, as well as all of the goals from elsewhere (and not forgetting highlights of all games online for 7 days 8) )

This week's games mentioned in the synopsis are WBA v Newcastle (are you suprised really :wub: ) Cardiff v Scunthorpe and Leicester v Swansea.

As expected, we are not featured, but still it's nice too know there mixing it up a bit and if it's anything like match of the day, they'l have a 4th featured game that they won't decide on untill the day, so they can pick the best game of the day.

This season just gets better if you ask me, and it's not even begun yet ;D

I wonder if they'll be able to manage to make a good job of editing the highlights of an extra 30ish games on a Saturday evening !

Bit of a shame it's not on HD. Does anyone know / remember if Match of the Day is on BBC HD? I like a bit of HD football, me.

Still, along with Forest signing half the league this summer, The Football League Show is one of the reasons this is shaping up to be the most brilliant season in many a year.
