Wonder which ones work out the cheapest and most expensive in terms of numbers and letters. Both Milenkovic and Gibbs-White are a lot of letters and 2 digit squad numbers. if Sels had 1 then that wouldn't be much at all.
Wood - 11, Yates - 22, Aina - 34, Sels - 16 We don't have any 4 Digit names and Single numbers
Gibbs-White - 10 and Hudson-Odoi - 14 are both 11 including the dash are where your money is!

I wonder who has the most expensive shirt name of all time.

It has surely gotta be Hull City legend Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, they are still paying for his shirt printing now.

Yeah, that has to be one of the longest names to play football. Although it is just a double-barrelled name in Dutch, the "of" is the same as "or" meaning his surname is "vennegoor or Hesselink" because at some point they would have been a marriage without losing one of the surnames

England U21s with Anderson playing in the Euros on Channel 4.

Does anyone know why they are pronouncing Czech as Check-e- er?

But our no1 is taken by the mighty Matt Turner. Maybe when he goes. If he goes. Even Textor probably still can't let go of those £8m.
Milenkovic has a special character too at the end, maybe that costs even more.

Oh God, I remember when this guy was around, there was also this Greek journalist who used to do match commentary and who absolutely insisted on getting the pronunciation right on every foreign player - the harder and more exotic the name, the more overpronounced it was. So you can understand that he had a field day with this fella. It was like announcing a baron every single time.

Reports coming out this morning that Palace are to be kicked out of Europe.

Trying to find something concrete though.

I think it's a case of 2+2 and getting 5.

Drogheda has just been kicked out due to the same issues as Palace so the assumption now is Palace will have the same fate.

Heard similar but taking it with a hefty grain of salt - the issue apparently being that the proposed sale of shares could take 3 months to go through even if a contract was signed today so it doesn't solve the problem ahead of the start of the next season. That indicates that UEFA may well have deemed his currently holding of 45% of shares as simply breaking the rules and the very fact that he is selling is a tacit admission that it is a problem.

Yeah I can’t find anything from a reputable source. Few none Forest mates have messaged me saying they have heard the same.

But till we see something in black and white I’m taking it with a pinch of Salt.

Whether Palace are kicked out or not we should still be in the conference league.

That's our prize let's crack on

Bored of the club world cup already? Fancy a match steeped in historic significance for one of Italy's most famous clubs? And there's a Forest connection too

Well, tomorrow night (7.30 GMT) Sampdoria and Salernitana face off in what they call a 'play out'. Loser gets punted to Serie C.

Among the famous names on show, Fabio Borini and M'baye Niang both ex of Milan, Simone Romangnoli and Tutino ex of Parma and the former being one of the worst centre backs I've ever seen in the flesh and only the small matter of one Nikolas Ioannou! Forest legend

Also playing for Salernitana is ex Parma forward Simy who I've seen play hundreds of time (or at least it feels like it) and not once did he score missing some physics defying guilt edged chances.

I have been sat in France since 3pm watching the highlight of the motor racing calendar the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

My Forza Ferraris looking strong to make it 3 overall wins in a row.

16 hours 26 mins to go still though a lot of racing to happen yet.

Long night ahead - but the Whiskey has been opened.

Football can wait.

Jheeze how bad must the MLS be. Al Alhy have been all over Inter Miami, god knows how they haven’t scored yet. They are all over the place defensively.

If an Egyptian side look so much better heaven knows what a decent side would do to them.

Edit: and Miami should have been down to 10 men, ref bottled it - didn’t wanna spoilt the party

It's this kind of bollocks that just shows what an absolute f*cking farcical circus this world cup thing is.

I don't know if I'm just getting old but whenever I see a footballer "influencer" or whatever the f*** they are, I just cannot understand not only how they ever became so ludicrously popular, but why they ever made a name for themselves in the first place.

That Speed bloke knows nothing about football, nor can he play football at all. It boggles my mind how he seems to be everywhere football-related. What exactly does he bring to the table? What a world
