If any of you are planning to see The Damned United you might want to come along to Broadway Cinema on Wednesday 1 April to see cast member Maurice Roëves be interviewed by John Holmes from the BBC. Maurice plays Jimmy Gordan, Clough's assistant at Leeds, and will be talking about the film and taking questions from the audience.

Interview and films starts at 8.30pm. Tickets £6.20/£4.50 concessions.

I'm quite tempted to go just to ask questions that are directed at him as if he is Jimmy Gordan and then pretend not to understand when he says he's an actor.

Hi Johnny

Broadway Cinema will be showing it from Friday - more details here http://www.broadway.org.uk/Films/Apr 09/the damned united.php

Muchas Gracias.

The Monday thing sounds good but in all honesty I just want to see the film.

How much is your popcorn? I seem to pay stupid prices for it nowadays at cineworld, two tickets two small bags of popcorn a bottle of water and a regular coke nearly bankrupted me!!!

The pick n mix is where you need to be considering use of a Black Card.

Cineworld, as I'm sure Flagman will confirm, will be showing it from Friday.

Maurice gets around a bit, he lives across the road from my stepmum so I've been following his work more closely for the last few years -he does quite well for interesting work.
