ITV make the ridiculous mistake of picking their featured games in advance.

It's mainly due to them being completely incompetent.

ITV are awful, but I think I'm right in saying that the BBC have the highlights next season?

I don't even bother watching their trash; too many breaks, not enough football. No replays of the goal, concentrated on the top six teams only. What's the point?

It's also so they can have Matt Smith w**king at his own image while he parades around various locations at the ground.

They'd be better just having him in a studio and giving the best games the most coverage, making for a better show. I don't find the sight of a man broadcasting from an empty stadium so interesting that it makes up for showing 10 minutes of a 0-0 and 60 seconds of a 3-2.

I'm sure its not ours as when we are the main game there is lorry with 021 or something printed on the side of it.

Ive also seen this at away games when it has been the main game!

You will be pleased to know that the BBC will be showing a Championship MOTD programme on Saturday nights next season, maybe on BBC 2 or 3, not sure yet. Plus the BEEB will be showing a number of Championship games LIVE.

Aye definantly. The BBC manage to have "featured" games on Match of the Day, and still make you feel like youve seen highlights of all the matches rather than just the goals as quickly as possible.

They don't really need a big budget though do they? If just say in studio and showed they highlights it wouldn't cost them much at all.

One thing I really hate about is when they show quick highlights of the main game after the adverts. We've already bloody seen them! They waste so much time with crap like that and talking bollocks when they should just be showing the football.
