It seems to me that due to the fact that everyone can see that we need players added to the squad, the early matches are taking secondary importance.

This is why the board can not afford to wait any longer for transfer targets or their clubs to make a decision on their futures. I think even player now are being distracted and probably thinking "we will be ok once bring some players in".

We are in danger of letting August pass us by and playing catchup is not an easy thing to do. Would we have faired better at Burnley if we had concluded our business by the start of the season? Are those 3 points (6 if you call it a potential promotion 6 pointer) going to cost us at the end of the season?

just wait till it shuts, and everyone gets even more mental about the emergency loan window-and we get threads about every single prem player whos not in a 25 man squad.

Yep, the window shutting will make no difference. Until we actually can't bring anyone in around March time, the madness will continue! :yes:
