The ‘I have something to say about Forest that doesn’t warrant its own thread’ Thread

🎵 When he slides in to play, and he ruins your day
That’s Sangare

With that line breaking pass, leaving you on your ass
That’s Sangare

Watch him go
Tippy-tappy-toe. Tippy-tappy-toe
And you’ll see him commit man

Watch him play
Tippy-tappy-tay. Tippy-tappy-tay
Hear you say; Holy shit man!🎵

And when he shanks one over the bar:

🎶When the ball hits your head
While you're sat in row Z
That's Sangare!🎶😆

Woke up with this one in my head so if anyone remembers Nick Kershaw's The Riddle...

🎵 Tricky Trees By Treant River, near World Class City Ground
Where a Greek man of shipping, turns this part of town around
In his mind is Red beacon, shining bright in the night
And OG and his eleven, are all up for the fight

Because in the end, we always win.🎵

Not only have we had a great 5 years with promotion, and the premier league years and Europe

But it's also coincided with first Derby going to L1 and now Leicester. Ownership issues at both clubs, failed takeovers and now the issues at Sheff utd. All 3 probably among the clubs we hate the most (yes, I know we don't care about Leicester, but they are the most successful local club in recent years).

If I was the south London club , I would be worried since they have crossed us

On a serious note, esp seeing Leicester fall, getting the ground expansion done and increasing our commercial revenues is vital to somewhat insulating ourselves to the risk of relegation. West Ham is a good case, they have made some big sales but managed to keep some of their key players like Bowen and Taty. Part of that must be their huge (yes, but crappy) stadium. Next 5 years are really important to our long term success.

Let's not forget what happened to Huddersfield after they crossed us. Olympiakos took their manager and we took their two best players and before you could say 'ee by gum' they were in League One.

Southampton aren’t in the best of shape either since we nominated them as pretend rivals
A proper "Kiss of Death" that was.

I'm confused.

Why have they sent me a holder for my season card when it's digital on my phone?

🤔😉

If only Villa had played a full strength team against them - they'd be playing Lincoln!
It does make you wonder. But that kind of thing can't really be proved, even though I've hardly ever seen a team try any less to win a match.

That trick with combined fees is nothing new. Russell Slade's Yeovil did exactly the same with Chris Cohen's sell on clause to West Ham by selling us Arron Davies as well.

Who hates Forest the most? Palace fans have a real boner for us at the moment, but as an EPL side we now attract teeth grinding on a whole new level from some. Back in the day I used to love reading Tractor Boy from Ipswich and his rants, then there was some kid from Carlisle who loved to fish on our site, until his mum tucked him into bed. But back then we were a very large fish in their small pond, it was bants. Likewise any hostility coming from the Mags, has always been home town ribbing. Derby and Leicester were proper nause when we were struggling, but today who cares, as long as our neighbours continue to host the Foxes and the sheep remain at the foot of the Championship... good times. Sheff Utd and Huddersfield have come and gone and Southampton were made up just to give us a rival. Palace deffo got that gig now. Coventry could become local rivals if they try hard, but can't see it whilst they have Big T. From a very personal pov Newcastle need to suffer more than they do. Who else have we had grief with and is Palace the best we can do as bitter rivals going forward?

Brentford are in there somewhere. I think the big man’s saving them up for a special occasion.

Spurs are up there too, they still bang on about us non stop. They didn't take kindly to the genius Daniel Levy getting mugged off.

As for Palace, don't pick a fight you can't win, we know based on history how it is going to play out - if EM thinks he can take advantage of a situation he will, like he does Textor. He will be back for more of their players as they fold as soon as you wave cash infront of Parish.

He also probably knows how to play him seeking the council of both Textor & Glasner.
