During our promotion season it was Just Can't Get Enough(Stevie Cooper ver) that was our celebration song of choice. It annoyed me when that seemed to die a death after promotion. We still sang it to Coops but the club stopped playing it. I'm probably in the minority but I detest that Rocking All Over The World we play now after a win.

I don't remember us getting involved with Freed From Desire before the PO Final. It was pretty epic singing it though. I'm with others in hearing it first at footy with Wigan and Will Grigg. Everyone sings it now. West Ham use it to remind Jared Bowen what he's up to with his misses.

Best ever chant I've heard was 'Niall Quinn's Disco Pants" from Sunderland fans

I'm with you on rocking all over the world. It's pretty shite overall and it's notably dropped off a cliff with the amount of people singing it.

+1 Depeche mode please

Was quite proud that we had a right tune as the FT celebration song

Not a fan of Forest all over the world. Bit cringe

With every game available in full on one channel or another, all "unique" football songs soon become revised and adopted by every club, apart from the genuine old chants that respect means will never be copied, like You'll Never Walk Alone".
My all time favourite at Forest wasn't a "club" song, but a player song:
Na na na naa
Na na na naa
Hey hey hey
Peter Cormack.

Eventually other sets of fans took it on, but I know I heard it first at the WFCG.

I don't mind that Just Can't Get Enough is gone, I think it was reaching the end of it's tenure anyway. We just need a replacement & we need loads of new songs in general

The ones we do have are rubbish, the Hudson Odoi one is the worst. It's overcomplicated & is not a football friendly chant. The Nuno one was good, but he's gone now.

At the end of the day, it's down to the fans. I hope somebody makes a good Glasner one - preferably not about his trainers being shit.

I remember that one from my early days watching Forest. The song it’s based on (by an artificial ‘group’ called Steam) was current and I don’t recall hearing of it being sung anywhere else at the time, though I was too young to stay up for Match of the Day so my knowledge of these things would have been limited to two games a week on Star Soccer and whatever was mentioned in Shoot! and Goal magazines…

I seem to recall there was a particularly insipid cover version by Bananarama in the 80s but I couldn’t say whether it got picked up by any football fans then.

I agree, it was a great choice. It happened to also be one of the music videos that we showed to the kids where they actually liked the tune, and I always introduced it to them as "here comes the Forest song now". And I still associate it with us when it comes on the radio or a playlist. Should be brought back!

I agree that it was a good choice for us, though I understand Celtic’s fans sang it before we did. Mind you, they claim You’ll Never Walk Alone as theirs…

Find it quite funny that we announce youth players signing contracts with them still in last seasons home shirt - is there a certain date we can use that top until?
They can use a photo of them wearing whatever they like. Cant see the club unveiling the new kit using the signing of a youth player though.

Schools are about to break up for the 6 weeks holidays, folk are about to go on their holidays, it's summer, it's THE time to sell them and they should have been on sale for weeks already.

Never change Forest...

It's piss-poor really whether it's a delay at Adidas' end or with Forest.

It's not like they didn't know the new season was coming up is it? No excuses.

I'm pretty sure Forest always release the home kit the day before our first friendly so it will be unveiled next Friday.
I hope so, otherwise it might be the old „vest-and-pants“ combo for Forest.

A vote of thanks to the backroom staff at the WFCG.
After raising questions about secure bike storage eventually an unnamed staff member has e mailed us to say secure storage will be available.
All we have to do is present the email to a steward supervisor, and he/she will provide assistance.
