I contacted the ticket office today and they identified a “technical problem “ their end.
My ticket was received an hour later.

After the Keown episode the other day, I've just come across this story and it made me all warm and fuzzy to hear how Keown hated this

When Arsenal went on a pre-season tour in 2000, a centre-half called Igors Stepanovs turned up on trial.

A few of the senior players didn’t rate him.

But Martin Keown was the one who got singled out, because he hated the idea of anyone coming in to take his place.

So during the trial game, the lads decided to start applauding every single thing Stepanovs did.

A normal header. Applause.

A tackle. Applause.

Even when he kicked a pass nowhere near where it was meant to go, but it still landed at an Arsenal player, they stood up clapping.

Dennis Bergkamp sat behind Arsène Wenger and kept leaning in with compliments. “Great header.” “Unbelievable tackle.”

Keown kept muttering, basically, he’s not that good.

A week later they got back to London Colney and Stepanovs was sitting there.

Someone asked him what he was doing.

He said: “They signed me. Four-year contract.”

That was the moment they realised Wenger had taken all the praise seriously.

Then Arsenal hit an injury crisis at centre-half.

And the next big game came round.

Old Trafford.

Dwight Yorke ran them ragged, and at half-time Yorke turned to one of them and said: “Where the hell did you get that centre-half from?”
