Temitayo Olufisayo Olaoluwa Aina of NIGERIA!

It was good to see Savona on bench for Arsenal as need to be careful with Aina and Williams and hopefully we can manage workload with using Savona, possibly in Europe.

What a brilliant, jinking, run and perfect cross for Igor Jesus goal today.

What a player.

What a cross.

The team is much stronger with him back in the team.

I love a full back, and I love this lad.

I remember watching his very first appearance for Forest - away at Eintracht Frankfurt (hello, if you were also there at the Waldstadion) - where he lined up at left back, and I watched him intently, and it became absolutely clear after about half an hour, something along the lines of, "f***ing hell, there's a player here".

Full back used to be my position, so I always look out for them, and Forest at the moment have a couple of crackers in Ola and the Welsh hardman, Neco Williams.

Didn't think he was great at all. Kept losing the ball and painfully slow at times. Always looked knackered even when he was supposedly fit so no surprise that he's struggling to get back to pace. Infinitely better than Savona though.

Not having that he is struggling to get back to pace. The guy patrols the full length of the pitch. Was quick at going from his own by line to theirs for the goal.

Seems a bit harsh to single him out for losing the ball today either. Everyone was at it!

“Great run for the first goal”.

Absolutely - fantastic run.
“Absolutely - Fantastic run”

An absolutely exhilarating escapade of sheer, unadulterated velocity! Our hero galloped down the pitch with the regal poise of a thoroughbred and the thunderous might of a tempest, culminating in a divine, arching cross—a silver thread that sewed up our victory with incomparable panache!

You have been watching Aina for how long & still think he looks knackered?

The fella looks knackered after the warmup.

Also, Brentford hardly went past him all game, that is what he is there for, he makes a huge difference to our team.

Didn’t he pick the all up virtually on our goal line and cross it from theirs?
There was an mis kick before the cross and pretty sure he did mis hit the actual cross but an outstanding run which not many are capable of.
I’m a bit old school and so not a issue for me but I don’t think he has been credited with an assist?

Didn't see the game yesterday and the YouTube highlights don't show much of the build up to Jesus's goal. Have just watched the MotD highlights on iPlayer and my word, I don't think enough is being made of Aina's run from one touchline to the other, with two exquisite long distance one-twos with Sangare and CHO. Absolutely brilliant, what a player.

Don't know if this link works but it should be just the match highlights, none of the MotD fluff:

I think it was fair to say Aina did look particularly bolloxed yesterday (I know he always looks knackered) but yesterday he genuinely did especially as he slashed at a few things and didn't catch the ball properly a few times which is normally an indicator of fatigue.

I'm not particularly surprised though he's just come back from a long injury and played a few games on the spin included Thursday evening. Thankfully the opportunity for his lungbusting run for the goal arose in the first half rather than in the second.

MOTD chose to spend the time set aside for analysis of our game on analysing Man Utd instead.

Think he’ll be getting a night off Thursday, rest up for Sunday.
The whole first 11 should. The Palace game is a massive opportunity to drag another team into the mix. Thursday is a dead rubber now and a great opportunity for some youngsters to play some minutes.

It’s also an opportunity to build on a win. If you want to continue the Us and Them feeling that is in my opinion developing then yes, make 11 changes. Otherwise, rest a few and use subs appropriately, We might need to cal upon Ndoye, Bakwa et al later in the season so we wan them motivated and not feeling like second class citizens in the squad.

For me, Jesus starts and plays sixty minutes. McAtee likewise. I’d start Sangaré too, alongside Yates. Anderson gets his rest due to the red. I’d play MGW if he wants to, but might have him play wide and have McAtee as number 10.

His body language when Jesus’s goal goes in is hilarious. He’s walking back over the byline, head down, thinking, “Thank f*** for that.” Poor sod was knackered 😂

I think Dyche shouldve subbed him near the end he was virtually crawling around on his hands and knees, especially as he’s not long back from injury.
Thought Ola had a good game and it’s great having him back, he was up against a pretty lively winger.
