Temitayo Olufisayo Olaoluwa Aina of NIGERIA!

He has played centre-back, but I think he is being cultivated at Forest as a full-back cum wing-back.
Cunha is more a centre-back cum full-back, and Cuibano is a wing back.
The one aspect of Savona's game which has surprised me is his willingness to repeatedly offer himself on the overlap.

It's presented defenders with a stick or twist conundrum when being faced up by Hutch.

Watching a 6'4 full back marauding on the overlap and breaking late into the box for us definitely wasn't on my 25/26 bingo card.

To say he is in his first season in England, and probably expected a gentle introduction via the Europa lLeague, i think the lad has acquited himself very well.
He isn't perfect, and when Fulham decided to attack us down his flank rather than using Wilson, their usual attacker, he was exposed at times.
Against City he appeared to switch off for their 2nd goal, ball watching and allowing Gvardiol a free header, but I think he is learning quickly while under a lot of pressure.

If Neco gets booked tomorrow he may have little choice but to throw Ola straight back in.
Zinchenko. Not ideal but it is his primary position.

Or another player could go there, Murillo did in EL and got injured (!), Morato has played there before (!) and possibly Dom might fill in. Or play one of the RBs out of position (Savona or Abbott) or maybe include Cunha. When is the other Brazilian lad back from the loan back?

He is much better than Neco was at a similar age & experience.

He also seems to learn from his errors pretty quickly.

I think you have to be pretty robust mentally to come through the Juventus system, and then go on to play 30+ games last season. They have loads of players on their books and only the very best end up in the first team. He is much better going forward than I thought he would be, still has a lot to learn about positioning and defending in the toughest league in the world. He was thrown in at the deep end much sooner than we had planned for and is developing fast.

PS. Will be good to see Aina in the squad again, as this is his thread!

Just going to post the same. Also Anderson, Milenkovic and Morato on 4 yellows.
Annoyingly Cash and Kamara both got yellows v Chelsea and so miss tomorrow so the have no one left on 4 yellows.

Let's have the back 5 from last year from now on.
Back to basics, clean sheets and start from there.

As well as his defensive ability and able to win his 1-1 battles, I think his ability to run with the ball up field is critical. He can run and dribble pass the press/ opposition allowing us to keep possession, build attacks rather than a long ball up field.

Will make a massive difference to the team having Aina back.

Hopefully won't be a repeat of his return last year against United which was his first game back if I remember after injury.
