Was buzzing with the result but couldn't fully let go as was praying Aina wasn't going to be out for long.

His video after the game suggests he's in a positive mood though, but isn't he always?

Everything crossed it's nothing.

Looked like hamstring from my seat, and given the way he got up after a slight pull rather than a strain.

Back for Spurs at a guess.

The recovery time for a calf injury in footballers can vary depending on the severity of the strain:
  • Grade 1: Mild strain with minimal muscle fiber damage. Recovery typically takes 1-3 weeks
  • Grade 2: Moderate strain with partial tearing of muscle fibers. Recovery usually takes 4-8 weeks
  • Grade 3: Severe strain with complete rupture of muscle fibers. Recovery can take several months
Proper rehabilitation and physical therapy are crucial for a successful recovery and to prevent re-injury

I guess we would have to play Morato at RB and Moreno at LB. Can’t see Nuno throwing Eric in for a semi-final against Man City.
With the expectations we place on our full-backs to be very mobile and dynamic in our system - I couldn't see a centre-back working there.

I agree, but who would you prefer to be going 1 v 1 with Doku - Morato or Moreira? It will limit our attacking threat down the right, but may just keep us in the game.

Honestly, I think we'd have to consider one of our central midfielders having to do a job there for the team instead of a central defender.
Anderson and Dominguez both have the necessary attributes. If it had to be one of our central defenders, then I'd go Murillo ahead of Morato.

Yeah, that might be better. CHO played as a wing back at Chelsea under Tuchel didn’t he? Maybe 3 at the back with CHO and Moreno in the wide positions. I’m sure Nuno will have a plan.

Morato played mainly left back at Benfica in his last year

Nuno would just tweak it so it switches between a 3 & a 4 with & without the ball which a lot of teams do now with big centre halves playing fullback.

interesting to see how we line up v Villa, which will be an indicator of how we line up in the Cup SF if Ola is out for that because there will be no Moreno v Villa so Neco plus AN other, interesting to see if he trusts Toffolo or Moreira to start or if has been suggested here, he puts Morato out there (or if we switch to 3 at the back and have Toff/Moreira out there with more defensive help)

Trust in Nuno, he probably already has worked out what he’s going to do against Villa, whilst having his breakfast!

(Actually, that reminds me of the time I once had breakfast with Garry Kasparov. The table had a checkered tablecloth on it, it took him twenty minutes to pass me the ketchup).
