gutted we had such an early cup exit. Would have been ideal for getting minutes into big T's legs
Same issue with big Carlos. We really could have done with having a few more games in that cup to get minutes into people and also have a proper look at them.gutted we had such an early cup exit. Would have been ideal for getting minutes into big T's legs
Somewhat ironic that in the end it came down to his pen miss.gutted we had such an early cup exit. Would have been ideal for getting minutes into big T's legs
You just have to look at the easy draws Leicester and Sheffield Wednesday have had so far.We got massively unlucky with the draw this year, got probably the best team in there
If we'd been playing Walsall, Grimsby or Harrogate I dare say we'd still be in it
Has the ball landed back on planet earth yet?Somewhat ironic that in the end it came down to his pen miss.
Until it cannons off Diakhabys first touch somewhere in outer space that thing won't return.Has the ball landed back on planet earth yet?

Whilst he was on the pitch, yesterday. The Fulham CBs didn't look at all comfortable. When did we last see him terrorise a defence?
Yeah I actually thought he looked decent and tough to handle for the Fulham defence first half yesterdayWhilst he was on the pitch, yesterday. The Fulham CBs didn't look at all comfortable.
I agree. I didn't really understand the plan with him and Wood together but out of the two of them he seemed to have the greater impact. Defenders always know they're in a game.Whilst he was on the pitch, yesterday. The Fulham CBs didn't look at all comfortable.
His mere presence will ensure defenders can't relax around him but at the moment that's just about all he's offering. There's no genuine goal threat.Whilst he was on the pitch, yesterday. The Fulham CBs didn't look at all comfortable.
A goal from slightly better connection when he performed that overhead kick would have been a huge boost to his confidence and belief. I'm still firmly of the opinion that gametime will help him get his mojo back. I just hope it was a bit of fatigue that forced his withdrawal yesterday. His mere presence will ensure defenders can't relax around him but at the moment that's just about all he's offering. He's a shadow of his former self currently.
The obvious answer there is until the January window, and for a squad with only two strikers he'll get beyond that as a squad player.Woods goals output would suggest his significantly more impactful.
How long do we have to give it before we have given him enough time? It's been almost a year now and it looks as though he got injured again yesterday. Sometimes you just have to wipe your mouth and move on.

That line about run of games is why I'm questioning it. I just don't see him ousting Wood (and it'd be undeserved) for long enough to get going.I actually thought he looked OK first half today; caused their defence problems
Taiwo's always been a player who needs a run of games to get going so I'm not writing him off yet
But yeah you'd have to go back to the start of last season for the last time he was on top form
I thought they did, to be honest, especially given they were playing against two up top.Whilst he was on the pitch, yesterday. The Fulham CBs didn't look at all comfortable.
If T has 'lost it' to the extent that some believe he has, I'm genuinly intrigued as to how we actually "move him on" then? That line about run of games is why I'm questioning it. I just don't see him ousting Wood (and it'd be undeserved) for long enough to get going.
He's a really good player for us on his day but it's been months since it was his day.
That's why I don't see it anymore.
I agree with this but he should be getting 30 to 35 minutes to just blast around no holds barred. Whatever the game situation that should benefit us and will keep Wood fit.As for him needing a run of games. Can we really afford him that?
Do you drop Chris ‘goal machine’ Wood and hope Taiwo puts it together? Play the two of them (which looked awful yesterday)?
How many games do you give him? 3? 6? 10?
I absolutely love him but I just don’t think we are ever going to see that unplayable beast again in a Forest shirt. If he doesn’t put it together quickly I think he’s gone in January and the club invests in a new striker.
To be fair, it’d need a bulldozer, he’s a big lad.If T has 'lost it' to the extent that some believe he has, I'm genuinly intrigued as to how we actually "move him on" then?
