What superstitions has everyone had in order to help us win!?

We have the thread starter for the next match continue when they win on the forum...

One season I bet £10 against us every game - as I thought that would help forest win (win/win) kind of scenario.

Last year I bet against us every game until the palace away match when I bet all my winnings on us (great luck)

I have one going at the moment which I've had for the last two games - so will continue that for a bit!
 
i've been told i can't have a shave till we lose, if we win or draw tomorrow it'll be at least another two weeks, it's already started itching so i may not have a face by then
 
Me and my dad have started going in gate 32 in the brian clough after the derby game.

As we went through 32 and lost the blackpool game so changed again for scunny and we won. gonna keep that goin for a while!!!! ;D ;D

Always the furthest turnstile to the right and lucky knickers. ;D
 
I always go in a particular turnstile until we lose at home, then I switch. :blush:
 
Wear the same clothes that I wore for the Scunny game. Also I never drink out of my Forest mug on a match day. :)
 
recently my new forest shirt has only been worn on games we have won so I will be hiding it under a jumper for the game tomorrow, especialy when you consider how long my loseing streak was prior to the derby win
 
I had quite a lot toward the end of last season when we were fighting to stay up, it got abit daft.

My latest one has worked at the plymouth and sc**thorpe games so will be doing same tomorrow :)
 
i go to same shop to buy chewing gum water and a programme. Have done it since the league one promotion and every i didn go we lost and every time i went we won. Its now just kinda stuck
 
As we approach the turnstile and see the season ticket voucher number, namely "xx", I say, loudly "Number xx" to which my Dad replies "...Is Brian Rice"

Same turnstile - 19 for me, 20 for my dad, though recently I've stopped going for a pee before the game.

This has corresponded with an upturn in our fortunes, oddly.....
 
always always go in the right hand turnstyle for upper bridgford this has been happenin since paul hart's days in charge
 
Well, my very old scarf, has been to the last two games I've been to and we've won both of those (Southampton at home last season and Direby this year....so it's definetly coming with me today.
 
i once had a forest bage my son bought me when he was around 3 that I had on the back of my baseball cap I wore it to every game I went to at that time and we never lost a game, forest went 2-0 againt united in play offs and during the celebrations in the pub I was watching the game in the badge went missing we then went on to loose the game, I never saw myself as being superstius but with football I awefull I look for changes in habbit everytime we loose after we have been on a winning streak. I used to have a green keepers top back in 98 that I never wore on match days due to the fact we lost 3 games on the trot when I wore it.

I do still have a baseball cap that is very lucky but wont be wearing it today as hats tend to bring unwanted attention.

When you say "toilet roll reeling off the bottom", surely you mean "reeling off the back"

Sh£t, i sound as silly as you now!!
 
I dont wear forest shirts or any forest related clothing when I listen to forest on the radio, or watch them on tv. Every time I have we've lost, even times when forest have been comfortably winning and Ive then put a shirt on....theyve conceded straight away.
I do wear the shirts when I go to matches though....

At away games when we are losing I need to take my shoes and socks off and sometimes if that doesn't work I have to take my shoes and socks off then stand on one leg, even if its snowing.

It ALWAYS works...

Well it worked once at Yeovil away anyway :D
