I remember checking out the villa boards when he went to Palace and they were beyond delighted when left ... so doesn't really look like a potential one for us
 
In fairness, some of Murillo’s passing was incredibly poor last season. But we all know he’s more than capable of being an elite ball-playing centre back in the Prem - we’ve seen it in previous seasons.

With the World Cup ending, Glasner now expects the market to pick up before next week's training camp in Portugal.

EM will have his negotiating abilities put to the test with every club and agent out there knowing we've just had a ~£116m cash injection

Wouldn't be surprised if some of our 'bigger' business doesn't get completed until later in the window, despite Glasners request of wanting it sorted asap

I thought people wanted a striker who scored goals? 243 games and City and Arsenal, 79 goals. A goal every 3 games at two of the highest scoring, chance creating sides in the country. Add to that he has had a bunch of significant injuries which has kept him out for large stretches and is 29 years old, likely to be on big wages.

I'd genuinely rather have Awoniyi up front all season.
