Student tickets?

Hi all,

Trying to buy a student ticket for tomorrows game. Says on the website that they are in block G but when i select a ticket on the website there is no student option in the drop down menu.

Anyone know why?

Haven't a clue. Students aren't back yet, so can't see you having too much of a problem getting a student ticket.

Hmm true true, but there may have been a huge return of tricky tree students from across the land descending on to Nottingham in hope of catching a few cheeky games before the term starts yet again.

up for the game tomorrow never have a problem getting a student ticket on the day. not even got a nus student card seems to do the job lovely wory, 1 year left of student discounts and cheap nights on the lash :(

Oh my f***ing lord.
In all my time wasn't actually aware of a studenyt ticket option.. you can't get season tickets at a student rate can you? I've got an old NUS card banged up in a draw somewhere..

Regardless, how much cheaper is it? I just asked a mate and he seems to think its £12 a game?? does that restrict you on where you sit then i take it?

I've done it for the past couple years, it's a bit of pain in the arse where you sit, it's like a funeral, full of uni students not knowing which team forest is, but for 12 quid (was 10 before) it's not to be sniffed at

Should have continued to say i've bought a season ticket this year as it was such a ball ache buying a ticket every week,

You can purchase student tickets on the phone from the ticket office. I got my Watford ticket for next Tuesday... he just said to take your up-to-date NUS card with you in case they ask to check it on the gate!

Yea i am at Exeter University and went to 2/3rds of the away games last season - i go back to Uni in october so really enjoying the home games!!
You can indeed purchase student tickets on matchday from the ticket office fella.

Awesome, well I'm definitely going. Sat there before and to be honest the atmosphere sucks balls. I'm almost tempted to pay the extra 20 spondoodles and just sit in a decent place, especially as I'm going alone. Man it's hard being a student, government paying for my ticket.

Probably cos they want to see some ID that you are entitled to the concession.

The trick is, once they've seen your NUS Card, get them to assign you a Client Reference Number - that way, if the ticket system is halfway decent, it should recognise you as a student just as it recognises my Dad as a Senior, and you can then buy subsequent tickets online at student rate.

That's the problem, don't seem to be able to chose a student option online in the first place.

I can understand them not wanting to sell concession tickets without first having seen proof of entitlement, but once they've got your details in the system, it should be able to recognise you as a student and sell accordingly..

I know they always say there's jobs there you just gotta look in the right places, but this summer has been shit for looking for jobs, i'm sure im not the only one who has found 100 people applying for the same job
