Stuart Pearce Testimonial

Miserable git, and proud.
Does anyone have a copy of this on VHS or DVD?

That Forest Forever off here has a copy on DVD, along with just about every other game that's been on TV, I was going to buy a copy off him but completely forgot, thanks for reminding me!

I got asked if I wanted to go to this with my brother and his girlfriend and for some reason I said no... It might have been the Crossley one actually.

Red Duster

Who will BooBaby boo?
I watched this from A block. I was most impressed by Les Ferdinand, top bloke and awesome striker.

The Maniacal Megatron

I belong to nobody!!!
I recorded this off of the tele.

It was on a channel that Diamond Cable used to show 'adverts' from local businesses whilst they put BBC Radio Nott'm over the top of them.

Psycho's testimonial was the only video they showed on it.

Still amazes me that the official crowd that day was only 22,500. There wasn't a single empty seat to be seen, the game was even delayed by 15 minutes because of the sheer number of fans queuing to get in.

6-5 to Forest, Newcastle fans packing out the Bridgford Lower, Keegan and McDermott coming on for Newcastle prompting songs for Frank Clark to put his boots on, Psycho's brother reffing and allowing a blatantly obvious offside effort from Crossley to stand ('Norm' played in goal in the first half and upfront in the second wearing a red no.1 shirt), Pearcey playing upfront on his own in the last 10 minutes desperate to score - which he did, Gary McAllister finally wearing the Garibaldi, 7 years after Clough's arrogance failed to sign him, and my favourite band Madness presenting Pearce with one of their gold discs before the game.

I often put that down as my favourite ever Forest match, if only for the amusement value!

I seem to also remember Spuds wanting £1m in case Teddy Sheringham got injured. So that one went out the window.

Coops' goal was a screamer too.

I only vaguely remember the game, but came across the programme at my mum's at the weekend. Thought I would love to see that game again.
I have emailed Mr Forest Forever but not heard back yet. :(

Resident foodie!
I went to this and it's one of my earliest Forest memories.

Was a fantastic night out and seeing Big Norm up front was legendary!

Does someone actually has this on DVD as quite happy to buy a copy if a reasonable price?
I remember contacting the club shortly after and they said they did not have such a thing when I was asking for a VHS of it.

Please let me know if you have a copy I could buy or borrow please

Yes Crossley looked world class that night

Keegan went up in my estimation coming on as a sub - I also seem to remember he came on with a Newcastle shirt that said "Honey Monster" on the back

If you are ever going to have a testimonial Newcastle or Celtic are the teams to try and play - their fans will travel anywhere for any kind of match

When I saw the title of this thread I thought we were about to give Psycho another testimonial which may have been slightly over the top
