Strong Championship next season

What a strong league it will be next year. Its already very strong as it is. With Peterborough and Leicester promoted they both have money and then MK Dons or Leeds if one of them come up through the playoffs. West Brom look like they are coming down and they are always strong in the Championship with maybe Newcastle joining them aswel they should definately be battling it out at the top.

Then with teams like Sheff U, Birmingham, Cardiff and Reading that will be up there again next season. If rumours are true that Keane has money to throw at tansfers with Ipswich in the summer then it promises to be an even stronger league next year. And one that i am looking too.

Will be difficult, but exciting at the same time. Half of these clubs, were in the Premier league not long ago!

If we do get the money to spend on players, I'm sure we can get a stable mid-table position, and I would be content with that for next season.

It's been years and years since we've had a mediocre mid-table season.

I want one next season, have a year off from the nerves going into the last few games.

Reckon Leicester will be any good next season?? Only lost 4 this whole season just gone, and scored 80-odd goals. I hope they're shit!

Yeah,, what i wouldn't give for a mediocre mid table finish next season. As Uppertrentred says though it looks like its going to be a strong league,, personally i thinks its one of the toughest Championship lineups yet. All the more reason for Mr Doughty to dig deep and give Billy Davies some good financial backing.

I was hoping Newcastle would come down but since we got safe I have been hoping they stay up. Would be nice if Leeds stay down. They will be chasing the same players as us.

Hopefully Hull come back down and Scunthorpe come up. Scunthorpe, Barnsley, Doncaster and Blackpool, Coventry, Watford, Plymouth and Leicester are all teams I can see struggling so we should be able to get a midtable spot.

Next season's Championship has the potential to be a lot more interesting than the Premiership, I usually find it more intense and interesting personally but next year there will be a lot of largeish teams attracting more attention. The 'big 4' totally ruins the premiership to me, after that you just have the mid tabellers hoping for a Uefa cup place but not really a lot to push for unlike the playoffs.

In light of this an upper mid table will suit me fine!

Personally I think we will be challenging in the play offs next season.

Dont under estimate Billy Davies.

Next season the squad, whatever it looks like, will be his. And he knows what it takes to get promotion out of this league.

I do not care who comes up or who goes down, we have won against top teams with this squad, and we will win against them with an improved squad next year.

the championship has been more exciting than the prem for a long time its far to pr editable in the prem anyone can win in the champ the bottom of the prem is more exciting than the top the prem is a boring boring league but saying that i would fu**ing love to be in it
