Striker Mix and Match

Inspired by TBT in the 'we were crap' thread talking about the idea of Taylor and Earnshaw up front as they were for Wales, what up-front parings can you make and debate from the strikers we've had over the years? The rule is - they must never have played together in the Garibaldi.

I remember Clough being followed by Collymore and wishing the pair had had the chance to play off one another for us. Did they ever do so at the Palais du Scouse?

There's more in my head but I could rattle a good number off and spoil it so it's over to you dodgy f***ers...

Would they ever have needed to pass to one another though? More two stand-alone options, as opposed to a pairing I suppose, not that it wouldn't be a very good one. Possibly PvH would have been the forward sitting of the two though, which is an odd idea.

IF! and it is a big if they didn't piss about, go on strike, go dogging, moan about transfers or training, didn't fall out with each other or anyone else, managed to keep their ego's in check, didn't go out on the piss and managed to not beat the crap out of a women. It would be truely fantastic and unstoppable! I doubt many people would have though Drogeba and Anelka would work together though and they seemed to have managed.
