what the hell was he getting at on the football league show with his comments about dexter blackstock and "you're wondering why he keeps moving - for some unknown reason"?

claridge wasn't exactly shy of moving clubs himself...

still, he was quite nice about us.

You could tell that the fester in him didnt want him to be nice about us.

Its just like Gary Lineker when he talks about us

Never mind about Claridge, WTF was that mutton tossing Savage doing on MOTD2? apart from passing 'critical' comments about bookings and sendings off in a manner in which you'd have thought he'd never had as much as a booking!

Savage did his best to wind up the Leicester fans on Saturday, so I hope that doesn't go unnoticed by the powers that be.

Claridge makes quite clear in his book why he kept moving clubs, money....mostly needed because of his gambling problems.

He is pretty crap as a 'expert' no life or enthusiasm at all. Mind you the whole show is a bit crap and on far too late almost like they got the league rights but did not really know what to do with them.

As for Savage he is just unbelievable and he must have some dirt on someone at the BBC Sports department as well as on the disciplinary committe of the FA.

I thought Claridge came across very well... Complimented our first half performance, and his comments were constructive. He remained impartial which he is paid to do and I would've expected nothing less...

I think we are a long way from TV companies shooting their load over our football... We are also a long way from producing it...

The football league show is crap (just like all of it's previous incarnations) but then it is always going to be, as there are too many matches to cover and too many non-entity teams to make it compelling viewing.

I always watch it back on i-player and skip everything except the forest clips!

Claridge was reasonably fair but I am not a huge fan of him anyway. I also thought his comments about Blackstock's "club hopping" were pretty ironic given Claridge's past!

I switched over as soon as I saw his mug on the TV.

I liked his comments about how so many people were saying 'as neutrals' how well we were playing but not quite pulling it off !

I'd rather listen to Steve Claridge than Matt Smith and Andy Townsend.

That's exceedingly faint praise but all the same.
