Exactly the same report on both websites. The fact that it makes no reference to his previous spell with us makes me think that whoever wrote it barely knows anything about the player, or the club.

Absolutely no chance of this happening - maybe his agent attempting to drum up some interest in him by faking interest from us?

Maybe king billy see tyson and mcgoldrick as winger and not strikers so we only hace earnshaw.adebola,blackstock and garner as first team strikers with both tyson and mcgoldrick can play midfield/striker.

john on free maybe would added back-up but we have enough already.

I would love it if the Calypso King was to return. Quality player, who holds up the ball better then most outside the premiership.

Obviously though, I believe our need for another striker is non existant and that this report is pure cr*p.

Stern was one of the most overrated player in the last 20 years. He came to us with this amazing scoring record (in the USA) and really gave us nothing. Ok he wasn't in a great team but he never impressed me one bit !

So we bought him for £1.5M and sold him for £0.15M to avid paying his old team £0.25M.

Hmmm my spidersense tells me that we blew £1.35M to save £0.25M, a net loss of £1.1M

Platt was obviously as bad at maths as he was football management.

He shouldn't be allowed near a transfer budget again unless its Munto's or Derby's

We had to sell him off , the club at the time was in financial meltdown thanks to Platt's ridiculous spendings and big fat wages on the contracts he gave out.

I felt really bad for Bart-Williams at the time , he gave 6-7 years of good service to forest but because he did not want to be forced into moving into any club that forest want him to go , he got frozen out of the team , made to train with the youths and Hart was told not to select him.
