Forest are inviting fans to send in messages for publication in the Leeds programme. I don’t know what, if anything, is planned by the club by way of recognising (at the game) what Mr Crean did and has been going through but I wondered if a message on this forum’s collective behalf might be an idea? I’ve no idea if he follows this forum but there have been so many messages of support in here that a collective thank you might be a nice gesture.

Details on the Forest website if the mods etc think it might be worth doing.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. The hand injury is one thing and shows how he went in fighting but that head injury really makes you realise what he did

On the BBC interview he said he was involved in a tussle with the attacker.

Pretty sure Stuart Attewell called in to the CPS straight away trying to get him released.

I hope he's able to make it to the CG on Sunday where I'm expecting a guard of honour onto the pitch from both teams and coaching staff and match officials in order for a packed stadium - on behalf of the football community in general - to pay tribute to his bravery and total selflessness. It's the very least Stephen deserves.

"Say what you want about him", in other words, keep believing a massive misrepresentation of him based on lies or half truths constantly told about him

I made the mistake of clicking a reddit thread the other day about a player that got held at gunpoint in London & all of the comments were just slagging off Marinakis (this was 2 months after he got accused by idiotic morons of blackmailing MGW & his family by the way, which for some reason half the idiots on there seem to genuinely think is true).
