Not according to my research.I thought he got the second for hurling the ball away after the penalty had been scored?

Throw ins, I totally agree, turn over to the other team. The biggest mistake they made time-wasting recently was letting the referee ignore it because it will be added on to the injury time. This doesn't do anything about it. I saw a clip of Mark Clattenburg the other day moaning about this, he was saying refs hate it because all the players know how to 'play the system' in terms of what they can get away with. His idea would be considered extreme, but it would 100% be a deterrent to the teams, and that is to reverse the decision, so if a team is taking ages over a throw-in, it goes to the other team instead. If a goalkeeper takes an age over a goal kick, then it's a corner. It would be anarchy on the pitch for a few weeks but players would soon get the message.
Not according to my research.
It is simple. It’s not simple though unless it’s transparent and timed. Teams perceived to be the underdog will be forced to be constantly be on the hurry up, while your Liverpools and Arsenals and Man Uniteds will get to take their sweet time over everything. As is already the case.
You are wasted on here VP, you should be running the Premier League!I agree. The Laws of the Game don't really exist these days. They are liable to change by IFAB on a whim or simply just allowed to fade away as decided by the refs and simply forgotten by the rule makers.
Then we get some laughable rule introduced whereby the Law is updated in a great show of busyness by the same rule breakers.
The whole system is nuts. Lets get back to simplicity and applying the Laws of the Game. Like, for instance, if you are on the field of play you are influencing the game, full stop. If you are offside, you are offside.
John Brooks from Leicester. Mmmm, right.Have we won a game yet with this mob?
Referee: Craig Pawson.
Assistants: Tim Wood, Craig Taylor.
Fourth official: Anthony Backhouse.
Video Assistant Referee: John Brooks.
Assistant VAR: Akil Howson.
He's from Melton Mowbray & you would have a bigger argument for him being on our side considering we have won 3, drawn 3 & lost 1 under him.John Brooks from Leicester. Mmmm, right.
Excellent idea aside from the fact that Webb always knows best and knows that whatever his refs say is the correct decision and there’s no point changing anything as it’s exactly as he wants it.Germany‘s top official, Dr. Felix Brych, will retire at the end of this season, at the age of 50, after officiating over 350 matches in his career.
Dr. Brych, whose Doctorate is in Sports Law, will then be at a bit of a loose end. Maybe Howard Webb should give him a call and offer him a job?
I was just making an observation; I wasn't implying or suggesting bias. He's from Melton Mowbray & you would have a bigger argument for him being on our side considering we have won 3, drawn 3 & lost 1 under him.
@Otis Redding advised the Forum that Jon Brooks was from Leicestershire, more than once.I was just making an observation; I wasn't implying or suggesting bias.
Some poor decisions on yellow cards not being given in the first half but it sort of evened out when Yates got away with one in the box late on that could've easily been given as a pen.
That was my thinking too as to why it wasn't given on the pitch and there wasn't enough to overturn it. It was one of those I think where if he'd given it VAR would've just left it as a pen.I thought it was but on replay, as Yates goes to challenge the guy has his foot 6 foot in the air so probably why it wasn't given. Plus it came from a free kick which was yet another Everton dive anyway.
