It did it with mine too. It only leads to a forest player profile off of the OS for Matt Mills which somebody has obviously made up. ::)

Basically the sites that most clubs use, including ours are bloomin awful, which means you can edit the url and make any player appear to be at any club.

The number that is bold above can be changed, if you can be bothered to find the number of a player you want to pretend is at forest just look for that number on that players clubs site and stick it in the bold bit.

I tried putting in a random five digit number to see who it brought up as a new Forest player... Guy Moussi.

Whoever came up with these sites is a f***ing genius and must be making a mint out of it. As bad as the sites are, it looks like it'll make plenty of dosh for the football league.

Yeah it's a huge contract for them, but that kind of thing just shouldn't be possible and would take about 2mins to prevent (unless it really is written truly terribly).

Shouldn't find this funny but did have a go and found that Forest had included a former French international in the squad. Shame it was 44 year old midfielder Jocelyn Angloma :blink:

Why doesn't someone doctor the OS player profiles to make it look like we've signed someone and at the same time edit their wiki entry to the same effect?

That'd be a real hoot!

Or better yet post a headline like "Ronaldo Signs" and then have a picture of an actual sign featuring the word "Ronaldo" ... amazing.....

And while they're at it they could post his stats off a football game as an indication of whether we should buy him... brilliant!
