Without looking who would you say made the most appearances for us last season? Including subs. It's something that shocked me when reading it yesterday.

Cohen (46)
Chambers (44)
McCleary (43)
Perch (42)

Just shows, that even though Chambers and Perch come in for some stick, they clocked up 78 starts between them. Surprised to see McCleary's stats so high too, most from subs though.

Thhat's what I was mainly getting at, the fact he'd made that many appearances. Really didn't seem like he'd made that many.

My main point was that of Chambers. For me he never deserved any criticism last season. He's a very very good centre back. Not a right back. Thank god Billy has seen this.

Shite right-back....average centre back.

Wouldn't want him there all season..we must look for better

I disagree that Chambers is average there, whilst he isn't glamourous he wins pretty much everything in the air and unlike Wes and possible Wilson he clears the ball not merely make contact with it.

I think its a bit harsh saying Chambers is an average centre-back already, when he hasn't been given the chance to prove himself there, cause clearly he isn't a RB. I was impressed with him when he played CB against Coventry, He was strong against Clinton Morrison, decent in the air & played the simple ball into midfield when he had possesion.
