Well if he wants 40 grand a week to be an unmotivated blob he can go whistle, he wouldn't come anyway.

Surely the only way he could play for another team before January is if Notts County loan him to someone due to the transfer window rules???

....or if Notts released him from his contract (and why wouldn't they?) and he became a free agent. I still wouldn't want him and this little hissy fit is testament to why.

You have to question his motivation. I'd take him just to piss off the Sadpies, but in reality - ermm no thanks!

Would be OK, I would rather Leon Cort or someone else though though. Would be funny just to annoy the pies though lol

Is that correct? I dont know all the rules surrounding the transfer window but I thought that cancelling a contract wouldnt allow a player to simply sign someone else. If this was the case, surely teams would use this as a way round the transfer window?
(perhaps with the purchasing club paying the player a huge signing on fee and the player paying the selling club a huge contract cancellation fee....i.e. a transfer fee effectively passing from the buying club to the selling club)

wouldn't touch him with yours, both metaphorically and physically.

on a more serious note, do you reckon he's a giver or a taker? or a bit of both?

he was good at taking money off Notts. I'd say taker.

Anyone know the honest reason he's quit?
I don't believe its cos he's not good enough at that level. Yeah he's unfit but how long does it take to get match fit? A month max.
It must be down to him wanting to play at a higher level. Otherwise surely he would of stayed and coined it in.
I may be well off the mark but it just got me thinking he's been tapped up (metaphorically) :D

I think, if he were fully motivated, fit and ready then Sol Campblemm would be quality fpr Forest. Sadly however, he is never going to be any of those 3 things again, so no, I don't want the waster here.

I'm gonna be shot down but I would be tempted to give him a years contract. The guys experienced and amazing in the air. He's exactly what we're looking for in the short term. Only thing that puts me off is his motivation and lack of fitness. But seriously, how can a 34 year old be motivated in div 2??? Maybe at his age he needs shorter term goals. Just a thought

if he were fully motivated, fit and ready he'd be playing in the premiership

its funny that only two weeks ago he was still thinking that, perhaps, maybe, he could still do a job for England

the only thing that anyone can hope for his that he realises that his days are numbered, believes he has something to offer and wants to play at a much higher level

but in reality we must all expect that a being ripped a new arsehole by the cloggers at Barnet is not what he had in mind when he join the Medaz Revolution

No wonder my post count..
I bet he had no idea he was signing for County until he realised they gave him Meadow Lanes postcode for his GPS!

No one sensible walks away from a £2M a year contract unless they have something already lined up. I'd guess he has already has another contract lined up.
