I've gone for an optimistic option 4. I also believe if this is true, with our away record we could win the playoffs 8)

I'm a Forest Fan, that makes me very impatiant.

Although I'd be happy on the whole with a top half finish, and like Billy's consolidation theories to benifit us in the long run, but I just can't help wanting to taste the Top Flight once again.
It deludes me. Like I'm Frodo in lord of the rings.

5th-6th.

Just miss out on play-offs on last day of season on goal difference, 8th. 8)

I said 8th at the start of the season, we're currently 9th and level on points with 6th. I've stuck to my guns and gone for narrowly miss out. (Although I was more tempted towards 4th/5th than mid-table).

I voted 3rd or 4th, my reasoning behind it was i think that there is 2 better squads than ours.

I'd be with you on that. My only worry would be lack of experience and buckling under pressure. Thats why I said 5th or 6th at best.
At the start I also said 8th so exceeded my expectations so far

im going for a very realistic 5th, I dont think we will miss out as if you want to be negative we have dropped 4 points in the last 2 games yet we havent lost any ground on teams above us and this is during a spell when we have 3 players out injured. we will only get stronger while other teams up there will start to drop due to lack of depth in there squads

5th.

Leicester in the semis, Boro in the final.

Spurs at home on the opening day next season ;D

Miserable git, and proud.
I'm sticking by my guns and saying (comfortable) mid-table, anything better is a bonus this season.

Champions, and a free season ticket to boot. Thank you Mr Chandler.

I'd be happy with a season with a placement above the mid-table to be honest.

Keeping up this momentum and reaching the playoffs would be fantastic though!

Welcome to the forum. ;D

Looking at our run of games up to Christmas, we're challenging many of the upper table teams. If we can continue to win at home and draw away then we have every chance of moving up and staying in the top six.

Billy will wish to keep a level head and maintain realistic expectation. Underneath, he must surely be aiming for promotion at least through the playoffs.

6th, just................Newcastle, Baggies, Cardiff, Boro and QPR above us....in that order
thereafter?............dreamland ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

If we sign a couple of players in January, we have every chance to finish in the top 6... without any signings... we still have a chance, but I have a feeling that with this squad we will finish 9th or 10th... I have a bad feeling about one of our players as well, but I won't jinx it... :)
