I've just read on transfer rumors that he's having a medical at forest? does anyone know if this is true. One of the comments that state this also says that Tyson is off to Leeds. What do you guys think?

Who knows if billy after him or not. some are trying wind leeds up? some are dreaming he'll come?.....most rumours posted on that site dont become true.

Can only assume we've been told Whittingham is off limits or off to the prem therefore Snodgrass is plan B (not the singer).

Don't know much about him other than he's one of Leeds' best players. Not sure if he's better than what we've got?

Shame to see Tys go, been a bit of a legend, even though he's probably found his level now. Would of rather we tried to off load McGoldrick. Hope we don't spend ridiculous money on him though. If Tys is worth 600k, then add 1mil and that should be enough!

When we got Boyd someone said he was better then Snodgrass but from what I've seen of both players from a far granted but Snodgrass is miles better and will fit into the team a lot better. Snodgrass left footed but plays a lot of the time from the right is what Billy likes from his wingers.

Snodgrass was ok at Legue1 that doesnt mean he will be any good at CCC or Premier League. Forest are not looking for that kind of risk and will be looking at bringing in quality not potential.

Leeds do not have any quality as far as I can see.

I disagree with the above comment on quality over potential, I still think forest will look to bring in league 1 players who billy and the TAP think will make the step up for the simple reason that they are cheaper, and make huge profits if they are a success.

look at our signings over recent years and there is a number of talented players with potential we have signed some have failed and some have been a huge success

Doubt they'll sell him. The best players they had were Beckford, Ankergran and Snodgrass. They've already lost the 1st 2. If they lose Snodgrass they will be a lot weaker than they were in league 1.

The rumours are some sort of trade involving Tyson, that would be a good deal for Forest I think, however I would like to know how much money they are going to give us as well LOL

living in Wakefield it was a great conversation starter with my mates at work on Saturday night just before I started work. All of them rated him above Beckford and was their best player last season. When I told one of them he looked as if he was going to cry and throw all his toys out of the pram. Even if it's not true it was great to wind up my Leeds mate, their reaction when I said maybe he wanted to move to a bigger club was priceless.

We have, but with the exception of McGoldrick we've not paid over £500k for any of them. The money leeds want to release him is too much for an unknown quantity, you could get an experienced prem player for the £2-3m quoted. I can't see them letting him go anyway, as someone already said they've already lost 2 of their best players, they will really struggle if they lose any more.

Remember who their chairman is though...he will get them into debt to buy players, give them long well paid contracts too, especially if he thinks it will get them to the Prem.

I really cannot see Forest being in for Snodgrass, I think the better, cheaper option, would be Boyd but I do think Forest will be looking to bring a better quality player in from either the Premier League or Europe. I have read nothing but rumours with regard to Whittingham so do not thing that will happen either.

Ankergren was nowhere near being Leeds' best player...all the Leeds fans I know were glad to see the back of him and largely credited their late revival to being down to Higgs returning to fitness.

aim higer, whittingham is a proven quality championship player who could probably play in the prem, snodgrass is probably the league 1 equivelant of that, not exactly what we need.

Really? I've not kept up with league one since we left it. I was very impressed with him when we were down there.

Point still stands though they will want to avoid being weaker after promotion. Snodgrass is the only player they have who I would want here. Perhaps Howson too.
