Are reporting that Tyson and McCleary both need knee surgery.

Whilst McCleary has not played much part this season I think that Tyson has been very effective as an 'impact player', coming off the bench when legs are getting tired, and will be missed if he is out for any length of time.

Re: Sky News

I thought this thread was going to be "sky news has finally renamed itself as fox news europe", which it should really.

Re: Sky News

Yeah heard that the other day; tyson always seems to get injured but if they can eventually get to the bottom of problems then great. Gutted for mccleary because i think he has potential.

This was in the Post yesterday. Surprised no-one picked up on it actually.

f*** that. The Yanks can have Fox renamed Sky News for the Colonies.

Re: Sky News

In fairness, Tyson was long overdue an injury by his usual timescales.

Re: Sky News

McCleary's problem is tendonitis, which can clear up with rest, or require surgical correction.

With luck, after surgery the usual recovery period is a few weeks; if you are unlucky, like Owen Hargreaves, then it can be career-threatening.

Re: Sky News

Tyson has been a bag of w**k all season. He cant shoot, he cant cross, and he can barely pass. All he can do is run very fast, but then again, so can Usain Bolt.

Dont think we'd miss him at all and really struggle to see what he brings to the squad yet alone the team. Would much rather have kept Boyd from Peterborough as at least he had an end product.

Still unsure on McCleary, cant see him ever being more than an impact sub. Then again, with a small squad and tired legs, can see him being a more important player over the xmas period.

The irony. Its the most right wing tv channel around- it makes the daily mail look like its promoting more immigration and its sponsored by benefit cheats.

I used to flick over to it in the early hours from time to time, when there was nothing else on. The amount of bile, and nonsense and anti anything that isnt conservative american is shocking. Theres a show called the O'reily factor, and all the guy does is slate anyone who disagrees with killing muslims.

Its pretty much what a sky "the tory station" news aspires to be.

Garath posted as his facebook status yesterday, that he does not need surgery and that he is not injured.

I really hope that is not his real twitter. He cant be a grown adult and type like that.

If you think Fox is bad you should listen to some of the talk radio shows in the US; you would be amazed and appalled!

Re: Sky News

O'reilly is actually one of the saner voices on fox news, that nutter who hosted that 'spontaneous grass roots' rally on the anniversary of King's 'I have a dream' speech is a lot, lot worse (forget his name - also not sure how it can be grass roots if it's been created by the worlds largest media corporation). Some of the women make kate Burley seem positively educated and professional as well.

Dont like him? Stop being a prat- I've never met him to not like him or like him.

I just personally, would hope that any grown adult wouldnt type in that horrible text speak and use silly spellings like "sum1". Hes not 4 years old afterall.

Personal preference though, each to thier own.

They are supposed to be pretty bad, is it quite prevelant?

Yeah that guys a clown.

O'reilly though, I once watched an episode of his show at about 3am, and he had a kid on whos dad was killed during 9/11. But the kid was against the war in aghanistan and was very polite about it. O'reilly though, just went ballastic and started calling the kid a traitor, unamerican, and was outraged that the kid didnt think killing people was the answer.
He starts having a pop at the kid and really goes on the offensive. The kid to his credit though, doesnt rise to hit and still calmly re-iterates his stance. Bill cant cope with it and demands the kid's mic be cut.

Its actually quite funny:)

I think you mean Glenn Beck. His show is on here every weeknight @ 10pm. I put it on occasionally if nothing is on, and sit there sometimes in total amazement at some of the tripe he spouts. The other ridiculous thing is that sometimes is literally less than 120 seconds from one ad break ending to the next one starting; but that is probably true of most American TV channels.
O'Reilly = total nob.

Get off your high horse, its on facebook, it a status message people and people tend to abreviate them. Snotty man
Yes I think you don't like him as a player, all last season you used any excuse to have a dig

Prat

Maybe people on you Facebook friends list abbreviate, Redrat, not on mine. My friends are literate. We have this debate on here quite frequently and your side always ends up using inverse snobbery and name calling as props for your flaccid argument.

I hardly think people are going to care much for the opinions of someone who is either too careless to use quotes correctly or incapable of doing so.

He's abbreviated one word, lol. Bit OTT with your reaction. His writing is much better than most footballers - seen the dribble rio writes on twitter? Keeps making it into the independent for some f***ing reason.

OTT an acceptable abbreviation?

Exactly! One word and as for the name calling, it was not started by myself goaty and I tend not to go on facebook by the way. I just know abbreviations are used on social sites a lot but I suppose you are an exception then. So to end this silly over reaction to McCleary’s supposedly fb message if he is not a grown adult, go on the OS and listen to his recorded interviews and listen if he sounds like anything else but a sensible grown adult. Also capable, if you’re going to be so judgemental on someone’s text and spelling maybe you should check yours before you post it.
Regards

I like it. We could do a trade with Jamaica T&F .

Tyson to run final relay leg for Jamaica 4x100m London2012

Bolt to play striker for Nottingham Forest.
