Skeleton squad when Loans go back.

Now I know it's exciting being linked with the homecoming of Marlon mk1 and a new Keepers arrival, but I was thinking how threadbare our squad will be when our part time squad return to their permanent employers.

When the loans go back, perhaps we'll sign them permanently.

If we stay up, I'd imagine we'll be looking at signing McSheffrey and Osbourne permanently at least and I think Joel Lynch will stay, too...

Not sure about Gunter as it all depends on whether Spurs think he has a future there or not.

Turner is another maybe, but let's see how he does first.

Realistically, we've just got to get the best team possible out for the rest of the season and see where it leaves us.

If we stay up, then we can think about signing a couple of our loan players and Billy will do what he thinks necessary to improve us. If we go down, well, that just doesn't bare thinking about.

Thats a positive way of looking at it Talky.

We do have some "Calderwood" baggage to get rid of (Chambers and Davies) although to be fair less than the "Kinnear" baggage that Megson had to clear out.

Yes but this will be in the summer when we can sign players permanantly.

Don't see the problem? We will know what league we are in and sign players accordingly without having to clear out or pay off expensive contracts. Its a non issue.
