Sitting in the home end @ Derby away

Worth the risk or not? Pisses me off that I cant get a ticket. Tickets are never going to make it to sale for season ticket holders with less than three away games and there isnt a hope in hell they will make it to general sale. The only other option would be to hope one comes up on ebay for a decent price which again is highly unlikely.

Unless someone who cant make the Derby game who fits in to any of the more likely ticket obtaining criterias would like to strike some sort of deal? I.E I can get a ticket using your reference number for a handsome reward?

The likelihood being that I'm not going to end up going :(

If you nip into Derby and buy a packet of crisps you'll probably get one free.

Get yourself a new phone in Derby or jsut hang around the Westfield centre and they'll throw in a DCFC half season ticket.

Presumably their ground must have the equivalent to the BC stand (ie, quieter area) which would be a better bet. From my experiences there, that could be any of the ground though given the atmosphere generated lol

Surely the worst that could happen is if he gets kicked to shit.

Or even worse, he might win a season ticket or something ...

As someone who has sat in the wrong end at a Forest-Derby game, trust me it is no fun at all.

Save the £30 and spend it on celebratory drinks when we win there :)

No chance in a modern seated stadium. The stewards would move in before a second punch could be thrown, even retarded Derby ones...

I sat in the home end once at Pride Park when we lost 1-0 in 1999, went with a Derby supporting friend from school.

It was really no fun at all and when they scored the winner it was really sickening being surrounded by them.

Would definitely not do that again.

I reckon I could get two or three punches in on my neighbour before a steward could intervene, and I sit on an aisle on the front row.

Be a bit harsh on my brother though lol

I see how that could be quite horrific but I feel if the opposite happened it could be quite an amusing set of events ;D Aagain though I would have to sit in utter silence but quite easily join in the home fans conversations about how Nigel is a prick and the team are generally shit

Not something I'd fancy doing.
I honestly don't think I'd enjoy watching Forest if I wasn't allowed to jump up and cheer when we score, and I sure as **** wouldn't enjoy it if I was surounded by sheep fans cheering if they scored.

Did it last year for the cup game and it was a lot harder than i thought. We were in the west stand at the end furthest away to the forest fans. although comments like "kill the forest f uckers" etc are not really meant it still winds you up. we managed to keep our composure and treat everything as a joke but it ain't easy, at one point i even joined in a derby chant just to fit in  :paperbag: and clapped when they scored. i just grinned when forest scored 8) . Good luck if you go for it.

Was talking about how we would conduct ourselves to my brother last night. The conversation led to what would we do if we had penalty in the last minute with a chance to win it. Basically the conclusion was that we would find the nearest exit with a view of the pitch, stand there, and if we scored go beserk then f***ing leg it (earnshaw would not be taking it obviously).

non-league nigel has to put up with this every week.

i would say though you could infiltrate from within. be one of those moaning fans you really really hate at forest... "oooooh i've never rated savage" and "we're absolute shit in all areas" and "we should never have got rid of davies, he's clearly got a lot going for him"

as for whenever someone scores, do the same... ie: "they're not bad this forest side" and "our defence is shit" and "we should never have sold earnshaw" and "commons is a lazy fat ****".

then when it gets near to the end start throwing shirts onto the pitch or something

I sit in the BC stand, and while it's undoubtedly the quietest/least intimidating part of the ground, if any sheep fans sat in there and made their presence known on Derby day even in there they'd be made to feel very unwelcome/uncomfortable.
I see no reason to imagine it wouldn't be the same in the equivalent part of their ground.
