Big Big loss to reading. Would have loved to see him in a forest shirt!

But just goes to show how far our valuation we was lol hes been sold between 5 and 6 mil!

Cant see how reading replace him, was certainly a player of quality.
 
certainly a big loss to them, really good player.
but i don't think they could refuse that amout.
 
Has he actually gone? I think the fact that we didn't persist with our interest probably shows that the player told us to get bent.

I'm surprised a prem club hasn't come in for him. Looks like he's going to the wimbledon of the bundesliga.
 
£5m apparently; and don't completely disregard Hoffenheim; the analogy of Wimbledon isn't quite accurate; they are more like Wigan, with a wealthy benefactor bankrolling them up the Leagues to the Bundesliga.

Reading will miss him, that's for sure.
 
From bbc deadline page: 1019: DONE DEAL: Get in there. Looks like 20-year-old Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has waved goodbye to English football for now as he has joined German side Hoffenheim from Championship Reading. The fee is anywhere between £4m-6m.
