'The best of his generation' and Ipswich being the main contenders, I doubt it somehow.

If he is willing to go to ipswich and Charlton accept £2million we should match it. He's a future England international, no doubt about it.

I reckon we should go for Jonjo. Saw him play on telly last season and was dead impressed. The kind of player you'd really like to see wear your shirt. But then, is he on Billy's radar?

Can't see it being 2 million , besides Keane has signed Irish Superstar Colin Healy. Jonjo is neither irish nor a ex-manchester united player , why would keane be interested ?

He's gone to Chelsea hasn't he?

I heard Chelski, Man U and Arsenal were all after him at the end of last season. He was the best player in a terrible team (Like McGoldrick) and I'm sure he played well against us at the City ground. We should get him in to give this Me-Jew-ski fella a bit of competition

My mate is a Charlton fan and rates him very very highly. Easily their best player he says. He seemed to think Chelsea were gonna buy him and loan him back out to them for a season. Would be a really good signing i reckon. Getting a centre half is priority tho!

No. We should leave be.

Shelvey is a great prospect, but you can't buy everyone.

Be happy with what we already have got in this summer.

For £2m he is defo worth the risk. He could turn into a £20m player.

Thats very true, but would charlton actual sell for that price when he is regarded so highly?
is his contract due to expire or something?

If the Fee doesn't increase then there will defiantly be additional contract add on's. Charlton would be wise to get a very high % of future transfers tied in there.. and then sell to ipswich. then if he does meet expectations they could land other lump sums from a player that could have a career with plenty big money transfers.

Brilliant! It's what I was going to say!

Simple rule of thumb, if Keane is interested in them & they aren't Irish, Man Ure or Celtic, then the chances are high that he will pay far too much for them.

Can't wait to see him flop at Ipswich (eventually).

Keane signed a glut of shit United yoof players at Sunderland.

Good manager, but does that kind of thing.

He was the best player on the pitch at the Valley last season when we played them. He would be a quality siging, doubt it for a minute we'd get him and if we did it would surely be for more than £2,000,000.
