There's always something to complain about at Forest isn't there? ::)

Arthur out! :dani x:

Seriously though what's the hurry with sorting it? I'm hoping we'll play a weak side against Brum anyway so won't miss him there and then WBA is plenty of time away.

Most of the deals tied up are players who are nowhere near the quality of Shorey and who knows if we're going for a loan or trying to sign him on a permanent basis?

I don't think they can extend the current deal.

I wouldn't worry ! We may be surprised to see him on a permanent deal. As with Gunter whereas we only expected another loan ! If there's one position that the club realise needs filling, left back is the slot !

Correct.

He was on an "Emergency Loan" and therefore it cannot be extended.

Any further loan must be on new terms and either a time period or "till end of season", unless we buy him outright.

I would expect a new loan until end of the season to be announced after the Brum game.

There was talk of us lining up a £3m bid to sign Shorey on a permanent basis. Clubs usually let players go out on loan to get experience or to put them in the shop window. In The Times today it suggests Wolves are considering a bid for Shorey, so I hope we act quickly. As others have said, he is quality.

I think a loan deal to the end of the season is the way we will go on this one.

I think £3m at this stage is a big risk ATM, and we will look to make the deal permanent if we go up.

We haven't even entered January yet, his loan finshed 2 days ago !! Surely we aren't that impatient that we can't wait a week or 2 before we start criticising ?

whos criticising, not me mate and i'm not moaning either in fact i am very happy and content with the way things have and are panning out, if i'm a little impatient then so be it, but in this matter i am very worried shorey is top quality and i wouldn't want anything to f*** it up, simple as...

perch isn't crap though is he ? he's been a decent player for forest and although i doubt he'd be good enough to warrant a place in a premier league squad if we got there he is by no means crap.

It's all about opinions mate and weather you like it or not and i'm not trying to be funny or personal to you, but i happen to think he is without doubt one of the worst players i have seen recently for forest and there have been some bad ones. I am sorry but i don't mistake passion which he has for Forest has being adequate enough to make him a good player, in my opinion and this is only my opinion he is league two maybe one at best.

James Perch will never be a top quality player in the championship or higher but he might scrape the barrell lower down. James Perch should never ever be aloud back in this squad especially in midfield

I think people sometimes have short memories in football. Perch is a quality player, albeit a little negative in his passing at times, but a very good footballer who I'd rather have around. Shorey however is a different class (like Gunter) and I'd love him to sign (more than Bale). A perfect January would be Shorey (perm), Majekski (perm), Bale and Adam but I'd settle for the first two, as would most people I would imagine. Good times.

well if he is "crap" in your opinion then he has pulled the wool over a lot of peoples eyes to be able to carve out a career as a professional footballer hasn't he ? if he was indeed crap he probably wouldn't make it into a decent sunday league side.

can we re-loan shorey? does the rule that stopped us re-loaning camp last season not effect us or am I getting it mixed up?

I've just been informed that it is believed he has had his loan extended (don't know for how long)
